There is any good news today ?????

Nothing so far.

I emailed the senator of my states yesterday about my case and hopefully do something.

Hi Angela and Hicham,

I think if you contact them now, they will tell you to wait till it's out of 6 months time frame. So you have 3 more weeks to go. So probably in the 1st of August, you can contact your senator and talk to their Immigration Expert and they will send a info release form (or I think you can download it from their website, if they have one). Once you send it they will say they will get back to you in couple of days.

if they don't call them again.

I emailed them early just to be ready in case I don't receive my approval in time.

I just checked the website of my senator and i found the form . i will print it and fill it out and have it ready in case I don't receive my approval.

Nothing so far. I think the approval and GC will come when we least expect it to come or would have almost forgot to check the mail, or go to mail box thinking it wont be there but it will be there.

So waiting .......

I do believe VSC will wrap up the remaining cases as they can't leave them like that. I think those who applied at VSC and didn't get approved in 4 months or so might have to wait for

full 6 months before they hear anything. Once 6 months are up then come in the senator/congressperson.

The wait and uncertainty is the bad part of this process other than that I don't see any other problem.

I called the mis-information line yesterday to make sure my address was correct because when I went for my biometrics they were missing the last two numbers of my PMB. (but they know me at my ups post office so did not lose my mail) anyway- the customer service rep had to transfer me to a supervisor and he corrected it but when I asked how long it might take he just said 6 months to a year. (I was kinda hoping to get a better response like maybe you just got approved o something. oh WEll!.

When they update your information like that does it delay anything? I hope not becuase I would hate to have screwed myself up by calling to correct my info.

I don't think do an inquiry or updating your info with USCIS delays your processing when it's like 3-4 months already.

I think all of US are probably stuck in the FBI name/back ground check. Just my thought.
