Looks like you have a good weather forecast for your wedding day! Here is Ocean City's long range forecast - 79 degrees, mixture of sun and cloud, 10% change of rain - sounds perfect!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm so excited for you!!! Both you and July!! Makes me wish I was getting married soon... :crying:

But it was my choice. Timing of the petition and all, and wanting time to sell my house say good bye to my family, etc. Mine is coming up soon!! I'll have to pinch myself when I'm on the plane to SC!

Love the sounds of a beach wedding!! ( I actually wanted one too, but Tim felt getting married in a church was more appropriate. That's ok, it's his first, (and he promises ONLY) wedding so I'm letting him call quite a few shots here) He did see one on the 4th at Myrtle Beach though. He took some pic's to show me

Can't wait to see yours!! . I'm sure the weather will be perfect!

Hahaha. Canadians are so helpful. Not only do they send you best wishes and help you with your immigration, they also provide weather forcasts for your wedding day. I love it.

I know, I love K for her forecast! That was helpful...I have a weather link on my phone, but it's not always right...You guys rock!

I'm in North Edison, NJ. Do you need a VJ witness? A day at the beach sounds great  Have a wonderful day, weather forecast sounds perfect!

BTW how was the Hilton in Clearwater?

HAHA...sure, a VJ witness sounds great! You can also come to our AOS interview and vouch for us lol!

The Hilton was great! I was prepared with the advice you gave, so the room we had was wonderful, over looking the ocean....we had some wonderful swims at Clearwater beach! I would def stay there again! I made a great friend at the resort and they invited us to return on a family rate which is half price! I will def take them up on this! I will go back for sure...I loved it....and miss it already :(

The only gliche in our plans is that the house we put an offer in...may not close :( there are some legal issues....inspections etc... it's been a long 6 weeks and still no good news...we have our fingers crossed for one last option...I hope the sellers work with us...we really REALLY want this house! If not...we rent for a year until we find something else we like, but we really have our hearts set on this place! I feel like I need to finally settle my roots somewhere...I sold my house in Toronto 1 year before I moved, and I was renting a condo for the last year...and now I have been living in hotels for a month!!!! I am so ready to have a place to call home....

Please send good luck vibes our way, so that we may get our dream home in the next two weeks.... I would love to come back to good news....Pray for us! lol...

My stuff arrived from Toronto, and we had to put it in storage....we are now frantically looking for the suitcase with my wedding dress in it lol....hoping to locate it by tonight...lol...or else i'll have to find a tasteful coverall for my bikini lol!

i'll post from the beach this week...not sure how to post pics....maybe there will be a way to share an album...i'll get my techy fiance to help me! or else i'll just change my profile pic :)

Thanks for all the well wishes you guys! :)

Best of luck, ladie! I hope your day in Ocean City is exactly what you expect it to be!!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

We are experiencing similar issues with our potential new home. It is a very frustrating situation so I sympathize...definitely sending good luck real estate vibes your way! Put the house out of your mind for this week and enjoy your wedding on the beach and NYC! Congratulations!

Have a wonderful day tomorrow, Poprocks. Sending good vibes to you and OBX for your house situation. But you must post pics if the vibes work!

Our house is turning into a "Money Pit!" The before pictures are definitely too scary :girlwerewolf2xn:
