Hello Mr./Mrs/Miss Moderator and Administrator here,

I'm a new hand here, thanks for taking your time helping us(my US fiancee has no enough time to check then he hopes me to check it out).

So now we already got most of data for K1 visa, but I have one question when we fill in the forms about the cover letter of I-129F (I have checked the form examples one this website for it, but it still is a unfilled form, and i couldnt find out any help result for my searching).

So here is my question for how to fill the cover letter of I-129F in the details:

1.[PETITIONER ADDRESS]

Is it US petitioner's home address or office address???

But why does this words show below [PETITIONER ADDRESS]???

“United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services”

2.[ADDRESS OF YOUR SERVICE CENTER]

my fiancee is in Washington state, I have checked our petition need to mail to the NSC(Nebraska Service Center), the address is:

USCIS Nebraska Service Center

P.O. Box 87130

Lincoln,NE 68501-7130

So is that right???

But when i have checked “Instructions for Form(I-129)” “Where To File", i feel puzzled:

1)whats the meaning of "please note the different address"???

2)"If you live in the United States:File Form I-129F at the service center listed below based on where you live."

my fiancee(petitioner) is Washington citizen(also live in Washington now),but not Nebraska's citizen,so pls make sure for us wether our petition should be mailed to Nebraska Service Center???

by the way, it also says "if (US petitioner) lives abroad then should petition to California Service Center", so our status is no need to concern this, right(my fiancee is always in US)???

3.Below [DATE],there are these words: “Nature of the submission: I-129F ORIGINAL SUBMISSION”

What's that mean??? maybe its just an instruction that we dont need to concern it???

“To Whom It May Concern:” is “To NSC:”?or “To USCIS:”?which one is right? or “To any other office else”???

Thanks again for viewing such long questions, but we wanna petition sooner if we get everthing done. so pls answer me as soon as quickly, and I will give you all of my regards and respect and thankful words to you:)

The K1 petition begins with the US citizen filling out the I-129F. It makes more sense for the USC to learn the process and help the beneficiary. The US citizen will have an easier time understanding (generally) the instructions as they have been in the US for a significant amount of time.

Petitioners address is the US citizen's address.

Follow the list of Petitioner's state of residence for where to file the forms.

Nature of submission means what is the package about.

Again, have your fiance do the work that he/she is supposed to do. There is enough for the beneficiary to do later on. That will help your process go easily and bring you success.

The process is designed in such a way that both the US citizen and the foreign beneficiary have portions which they should do themselves, because obtaining a K-1 is a two-fold process. The petition completion/submission/approval, which happens here in the US, then the visa application/interview/approval which happens overseas. During the first process, it is the US citizen who is in charge...and if something goes wrong, (as it has been known to happen) or if there are delays, you the foreign beneficiary have no power to investigate or take any action. If he does not know the details of the i-129 petition because he just signed "i agree with that" he will have no clue how to move the petition along if an when that would be necessary.

What is it with USC petitioners 'not having enough time" to do the work necessary to bring their fiance(s)/wives here?

Thank you:) i know actually he should do his part and i need to do my part. but i think for me,its learning trip in my whole life, so i dont really mind which part which one should do, i just know learning new things that it is good for me and i could be his teacher and he could rely on me some way! i just hope the more he relys on me, the more feelings we have forever:) but if he wont cherish then it would be his lost, hehe. i just try to show my best part that i could learn everything and do everything better for me and for people who i love! but i understand what u r talking about, i should deeply thank for ur careness again!!!
