hello fellow vj members, i just want to share my worries. i have submitted the I-129F application last April 8 of this year so far I have just received the NOA1 last April 16 (online) and hard copy last April 18. Until now, I have been religiously checking our application status online and so far no update has been made. The application has never been "touched". I have also been reading the forums and learned that some applicants who applied almost at the same time as me had their application "touched" or even got their NOA2. Is there anything that I should be worry about? I'm so nervous already...

^ We received our NOA1 March 3, 2009. It was touched 3 days later. It has not been touched since then. I was also a lil worried about ours too. I'm sure they will get to them when they can...(or feel like it!)

Would you please stop!!!! Chill out. My NOA1 was on March 12 and no touches until June 24. Then again a touch on June 25 saying we were approved and the email received also.

It WILL happen. Use this time to get to know each other more, plan for your future together, and get all documents needed for the interview in motion.

Soon we will be saying Congrats to you also.

I have been there; All will be OK.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

At the moment, you are still fine. My case was touch after few days they sent the NOA1. Then, after that no touches anymore until we got our NOA2.

Panic if your case is more than 6 months and you haven't receive NOA2. You should start contacting your congressman or senator to help you digging your case at USCIS.
