LOL @ Bunz's comments re Chris Brown's shirt. It is definitely not cute.

Tonight is our last book club meeting at church. :( It'll be strange not to see this group on Monday evenings after seeing them weekly for 2 months. Once I get married, though, I will be ineligible for future book clubs with the Singles ministry.

The embassy in Kingston hasn't returned my email sent Tuesday night. One more day will make the 5 business days during which they're supposed to respond.

I emailed the consular address. Did they take this long to respond to anyone else?

Yes, they did take a while. Is this just for the step to drop off the DS-230? As soon as you want, just send another e-mail requesting the same thing but in the subject line ahead of everything put '2ND REQUEST'.

Finesse I think you just need to be honest with them... tell them that you enjoy the company occasionally but the everyday thing is getting a bit much. Tell them you will invite them over when you feel like hanging out and partying but that they can't just show up expecting to hang out all the time.

I am sure they will understand and you will still be able to borrow the wheelbarrow when you need to :lol:

NO worries Finesse the crackhead I bought a gazillion ferns from for $10.00 left a wheelbarrow at my house and never came back for it feel free to borrow it at any time :rofl:

Where did he steal the ferns from & did you realize you'd end up with a hot wheelbarrow & stolen plants when you bought them from him?? :rofl:

waiting for airpack to deliver my visa

MARCH 9 RECEIVE VISA IN HAND

US entry March 17 2007

received ssn card on March 24

Remove conditions Mar 16 2009

received email stating i was approved July13 2009

recieved notice in mail and 10 year green card July20 2009

Nat, I always email the consular not the kingston number cause they take too long to respond you may want to send a follow up email I never waited until 5 business day.

~9/8/08 - I-129F sent VSC

~9/17/08 - NOA1 received[/color]

~9/22/08 - I29F approved

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

~10-15-08 - Packet 3 dropped off at embassy

~11-21-08 - Interview!

~11-21-2008- VISA APPROVED!!!

~12-9-08 - arrived-POE JFK

married on ~2-27-09-

Okay...I don't like blogging. I did all this font editing and stuff in Word then copied and pasted into the blog. Everything looks the same...no italics no bold font. Plus, I don't like that my entries show up in most recent post order....not good for a story format I don't think. *sigh*

The first book we read (that I participated in) was The 5 Love Languages for Singles. This time we read Praying to Change Your Life. Up next is Understanding the Purpose and Power of Men.

I emailed the consular one last Tuesday night. I sent a follow up (with 2nd request in the subject) on Friday. No response to either one yet.

November 19, 2007 - Met
