Here's what Hicham was given at his interview. I was surprised it was in French. Anyways, just for those who have interviews coming up and what not.

Yeah I guess because the woman knew he didn't speak English? But either way there are a lot of errors in the sentences in French you would think that since they are a US Consulate they would be somewhat conscious of at least not having tons of grammatcal errors. I'm not surprised though!

haha sorry I didn't think about that small detail! It says they have an administrative procedure to do in Washington before they can continue. We will contact you after for you to get your immigration packet. I am wondering if this lady who didn't speak French very well at the interview just typed up the best thing she could saying thay had to do security checks.

it says

There is an administrative procedure that has to be done in Washington before continuing. We will contact you by telephone to come back with your passport to pick up the immigration packet.

... but with many more spelling and grammar mistakes :D

"We will contact you by telephone to come back with your passport to pick up the immigration packet." That doesn't like denial to me. Maybe I don't uderstand something? My hubby got one that said 'further investigation', 'send back to the place you've filed' and similar. That took almost 6 months, actually, they're still not finished. Never heard about that paper of THAT interview AGAIN. I think, you should call Casa and demand an explanation. Then call where they send it. Hurry up, do it now! That doesn't give you a garantee but ... who knows, right?

Good luck

IT isn't a denial, and we do know that. I just wanted to share with others who will be going through Morocco soon with what they will probably be able to expect. I have already contacted the Consulate, my Congresswoman, and DOS and they told me today that on July 3rd the checks were cleared for his name and that he should be hearing soon from Casablanca. Just out of curiousity why did you think it was a denial? I don't think anyone said it was... it's just saying they can't issue the visa until his name clears.... anyways I hope this helps those with future interviews.

ps. my fiance asked several times after the interview if it went well and if he will get his visa and the woman said yes this is just a standart security procedure.
