WAS IT REALLY SENT TO WASHINGTON DC?

MINE IS FOR MY WIFE'S CR-1 VISA. THOUGH WE HAVE OUR 9 MO. OLD SON WITH AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP OBTAINED FROM US CONSULATE KARACHI THROUGH CRB. (the stongest proof n evidences) THEY PUT MY WIFE's case UNDER AP AS WELL ON JUL 22ND GIVING NO REASON. STRANGE THINGS ARE GOING ON WITH ME FOR LONG TIME. MISSING THEM ALOT. HAVE EVERY THING BUT THEM. I M A MAN BUT OFTEN CRYING FOR MY SON N MY WIFE. PLEASE EVE ONE MAKE DUA FOR ME SINCE ME AND MY WIFE ARE APART FOR LONG LONG TIME.

CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHEN HER AP SHOULD BE DONE?

Talha - every case is handled differently. You can not presume your wife will be put on a long AP cause someone elses was. Usually females do not have an AP, however if they do, it is normally very short, unless of course there is something fishy....

Thanks for reply... Well my wife's interview is on August 25th INSHALLAH.. well Can you tell What documents they need or question they might ask during interview.. I am sending all original docs.. Do u have any Idea about Questionnaire they usually ask ?

If you have the originals thats great.....if not copies works fine. we submitted our originals to the NVC and got them back at the interview.

Take anything and everything you have. They might not ask for anything at all, but in case they do, you must have it.

If you have a genuine and good relationship, there really are not questions to study. They might just ask when/how you met/married? names of one another etc.

Here comes the Good news!!!!

My hubby just got a call from ISL USEM to submit his passport ASAP as his AP is in final review.I cudnt believe him and i thought he was joking . I am so GLAD n Thankful to Allah that it is finally over.

Short but yet painful 1 month n 10 days of AP.

I did not hear anything yet but hopefully as our interviews were same date same CO same kind of letter so hopefully mine is going to be soon. Wishfull thinking. Keep us updated for next process I am really happy for you atleast someone is getting out of this process soon.

Well, not so sure now about that visa I am so worried you all! What does it mean if on Wednesday I called DOS and they said you are in Final review and then on Thursday my status at DOS was visa printed and today it is Pending in the consulate? Does it mean that there is an issue that needs to be resolved? I asked was there AP and she said it had cleared in Washington and now the case is pending at the embassy. So, are we on AP after the visa has been printed?

Sweethearts, it sounds like to me that AP is over. I think they do all the AP stuff in Washington and then the case goes back to the embassy for the last minute stuff and to print the visa. Don't worry dear, they said your out of AP, your out mashAllah! I envy you...

Thanks everyone! Yea, I guess they printed it and are now looking over things. I figured they'd do that BEFORE pinting the visa but oh well. Trying to remain calm here! Good luck to all of you!

Yes I was calling the same DOS number and the operator told me that case was forwarded to DC,i researched here on VJ and it looks like all cases go there for name and back ground check.

Reading AP stories here on VJ,I never expected that my hubby would get out of AP soon.Alhamdulilah just one month n 12 days...Even after my husband told me abt this call to submit his passport,I didnt believe him and i was like r u sure its not ur friends or coworkers just playing a joke on you pretending to be some one from USEM.Even yesterday, I call DOS twice and the lady said USEM is requesting his passport and every thing looks very good.So now i believe it is real .... Now just waiting to get his passport back

atk, yes we contacted DOS on thursday and they said case is in Washington, DC and it is pending so lets see what heppens. Hoping for best InshaAllah.
