Ever since I have started here I have been doing the entire administrative side of my bosses responsibilities. Well since the CFO took over he has been watching this and informed me that next week I'll get a review with a wage increase and a title change. Finally.

Whoops!! Sorry I'm late with the "congrats!!!" but ..... Congrats!!!!

I've been busy as I have two weeks to get out of my house, and 17 days before I move!! :blink: How in the world did it come up so fast!!

I mailed a box down to Tim over a week ago, and when I track it...well, as of Thurs. night, ( July 30) it was STILL in Seattle!! Sheesh. So now I'm going to look into DHL or Fed EX and find out exactly what they will need as far as shipping the rest of my things down. I'll leave them here with someone, and with money to pay for shipping, then it can all be sent at once!! :wacko: What a hassle this part has been!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I think our messy, noisy neighbors are moving.. :dance:

they have their stuff strewn all over the lawn... fridges, boxes etc...

one can only hope :)

what if they just clearing space to make room for more family?

Thats great that they are moving.. tell them to bring all their mess with them too! :P

We just got back from the troegs brewery in Harrisburg. It was a lot of fun. I bought some of their double bock brew and a nice new glass. Twas fun.

I really think they are moving because a lot of the stuff I saw out there is gone now.. there still is a bunch of ####### out there though.. hopefully they clean that up :P

you don't know how happy I will be if they are really moving out... I never want to here the name Peter again :P or see the man of the house crouching by the sidewalk just wearing short shorts and smoking a cigarette.. :blink:
