[Emancipation 2]

The mail man just brought the mail in. He is so strange. I guess they count how much mail each one of them brings in and if they don't bring in enough on their routes than they begin to merge routes. Anyways he just came in and said: "Don't forget if you have anything from home you want mailed, you can bring it here and I can pick it up for you... it's important I get enough mail... please keep me employed"

I don't know why but it just made me feel bad for the guy.

Hmm maybe I'll start writing lots of letters and sending them out with him.

I have an idea.. all that junk mail with the return prepaid envelopes? Pull em all out, lick the envelope and mail them back empty! no work, but mail to go back for your mailman!!

I have an old e-mail address with my ex still on it, and I am not using it anymore. Last year I switched on msn to that address to check for someone and came accross a picture of a baby ultrasound on his msn, wasn't sure if it was from his sister because she had a baby boy....

Well today out of curiosity I switched there and there it is, he's got a baby girl with his GF

I'm happy for him I guess, I don't really give a damn, except all these years where he told me he wanted me to be "the mother of his children" and blah blah blah and all I could tell him is not in a hundred years because he was the most immature and irresponsable person I've ever met

I hope for that girl that he changed a little bit Cause he's going to drive her nuts, she will have to take care of everything while he's on his computer

Haha its like my ex and his (soon to be ex) wife wanting to adopt a child from China.

He doesn't even take care of his own son and he wants a child from China. Glad to hear that one fell through.

Funny thing is, his parents are from France, and they all have pretty common French from France names. Well he named his daughter Eliane.

I don't have an email address with the ex, but some other things - that's where kitty's going too since she has chronic renal failure and he already knows how to do the treatments...

I do tend to downplay all the moving stuff - why you ask! Well really I just try to block it out most of the time

It's stressful so unless i'm actually working on a moving task(s) - like this morning - I just push it out of my mind and play video games or watch tv weeeeeee.

But, but, but.... what about US?????????? your fans?????? don't we deserve the inside story????

But there isn't one

We decided we like Calgary more - so we are moving back yahoo!

.... there are medications for that, you know????

i'm thinking shock therapy might be in order

any one know how to get a modem that i had back home work here with at&t they want to charge me a 100 bucks to tell me how to do it, for that price i could just order a new one from them

I wanted to use this one since it wireless and its the modem and router in one, we dont have wireless with the one at&t gave us and we need to use a router.

anyways i have it and wanted to use it so any ideals would be nice, i'll be searching the net again trying to figure it out

what 802 standard is the modem on and what is the computer using?

oh and the reason i'm late is i had to go to jury duty today, but i got kicked off the jury by the judge. imagine that

i already knew lots of details about the case - a guy that worked here in our building was busted for the same thing by the sting (child porn sting). this guy up today was another perv caught by ice (who ran the sting)

I've never been called for jury duty, not even here. I've known some that have. Tim's been called a couple times...I think the last time, something happened and it was canceled. *shrugs*. He said usually they pay for the fact he went out there!

Yuck, that would not be a good trial to have to hear, Krikit.

I've never been for jury duty but Joe was called for federal jury duty this past Spring. It took two weeks and he wasn't allowed to discuss the case at all. I was worried it would be a murder or rape or drug related trial but it was about construction standards and the contractor and subcontractor each blaming the other for problems. He actually enjoyed the experience and yes he got paid a daily rate and mileage.
