Anyone know what the main border crossing is from North Dakota to Manitoba? Is it Pembina?

Hey! I've crossed there! Really really flat and super boring.

Woot! Like the whole drive

What the heck? Why do I keep getting these random PM's asking me specific questions on stuff I don't know anything about?

you too?! I got a weird one yesterday from someone from the Phillipines who has been living in the US since March and just realized she has to do AOS...? Not sure why she decided to ask me what to do!

I belive thats the one i drove thru when i went from Winnipeg enroute Nova Scotia---with a big side step to DC,lol!! My car was packed with stuff and they didnt even care! lol I figured for sure they would hassle me, but nope! i had my military orders with me, so would not have been that big of a deal.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

That made me LOL.

Yes! Those kinds of PM's! I just got asked about a green slip for an I-130. I didn't come here on one of those visas. I don't even look in those threads! The mind boggles.

I hate tyra and I usually watch the view but I found out it was about wedding divas and just had to watch.

My TV is actually on the Tyra show and I didn't even notice!

Too many border station phone calls, i'm off to the vent thread.

 and I haven't even filled AOS yet! Go figure.

I wish I was at home so I could watch that wedding divas show! Lately I've been putting our TV on that show "bridezillas" so whenever my fiance calls me bridezilla, joking or not, I just remind him of the crazy ladies on TV. I'm an angel by comparison :innocent:
