I'm home from Edmonton!! What fun!! I loved the mall. Even talked my sister into one of the rides there!! She told me she didn't know she could still scream like that.

I noticed problems with VJ this morning too, but being how the rest of the websites I go on were up and running, I knew it had to just be here, and the problems will eventually work out.

5 weeks left for moving!! This is starting to feel weird. I'm excited about marrying Tim and all, but sad that I"m leaving this great country! :(

I love Canada...and once I get used to it...I'll love America...

grr.. so a few weeks ago I got a letter from our new insurance company saying they had transferred my BCP prescription to the Cigna home delviery program and I was like, yay.. I don't have to worry about that.. all they wanted me to do was to let them know how I want to be billed, and to confirm my address etc.. which I did by filling in the form they sent..

anyways I get a call today that I need to call them within 48 hours to finalize everything so I called and at first the dimwit guy wasn't sure why I called but then he found out why and said it was because I didn't include the prescription with the form but then I told him about the letter I got that said they transferred it and then he said that they don't do transfers  so luckily I had the letter on hand and I read it to him and he still said sorry you need to send in the prescription but then he asks, " for what prescription is this for?" and I told him it was for Lutera and he said "oh yeah I see that note now" and he says it would have helped if he had read everything :P geez louise..

Good morning! Tonight I'm meeting a friend of mine, not a close one, but one whom I love seeing, that's from Alberta. She and I "met" on the internet in a chat room in 1999, and met in person in 2000 in Edmonton for a weekend with some other ladies. We got along famously, and then met again a couple other times. We continued to chat together, and then when Gene and I did a western Canada trip together in 2006, we met up with her and her husband again. Soooo she and her husband are doing some travelling in the US for a few weeks and are going to be in our area, so we're going to meet for supper tonight! We're going to be meeting about half-way from where we both are. It will be so much fun to catch up and hear some news of "home". Gene's tummy is feeling a BIT better today, but not 100%, so we'll have to see if he's coming tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Sounds like fun Carla, I hope Gene is feeling better and can go as well. Tell him not to order anything on flat bread or garlic toast - or whatever that stuff was he ordered that night at the pub

Nah.. there's a fence in between I and them.. If I rig up a 2x4 and put it OVER the fence technically there's not :)

Yeah, and you don't know if they use pesticides on them either. :o

True - I mean this yard has many Aloe Vera plants in it, very pretty and would be really handy if you burnt your finger right - not - because they spray the yard, including all the plants with an insecticide every three months.

Oh and I thought Gene had something with potatoes or whatever and asked the waitress where it was and it was at the bottom of the plate
