HELLS YES!!!!!

VD? Not me.

Got excited over a tv show.

How was it? My wife doesn't have cable here, so I might try to watch it online today.

I've really been looking forward to it...some great actors in there, including a couple from my all-time favorite TV show, Firefly.

it was pretty good. I'll continue to watch it!

It's a brand new day for NJ today.

My husband didn't go out to vote yesterday and that kind of peeved me off. It's the biggest right you have as a citizen. Why not exercise it?

He works in Philly though so I really don't think he cares. Whereas I have to work and live here.

Some people are like: Why Christie?

Simple: NJ is tired of being taxed up the rear. I have never had so much money taken from my pay cheques.. EVER. People say I was taxed high in Canada, well at least I didn't have to pay out of pocket to get on the highway or pay to see my doctor. Also NJ taxes is just another reason I refuse to buy a house in this state.

Hmm this is a borderline vent but I'll still keep it here. ;)

Lol Here's something I wondered if anyone else cared about :)

I've voted in every election that has happened since I turned 18 but for some reason I don't have one friend that ever did. I used to joke and call them Communists and stuff hehe, but then they all finally went out and voted for Obama. I remember asking them why they voted and they pretty much just said it was because he was so popular and the campaign was targeted towards younger people. It was hilarious to me that people could be so nonchalant about voting Lol. Not one person I knew that voted for the first time had any idea of any of his policies or anything, they just said he seemed like a cool guy. I suppose that's the same thing that happened in Detroit yesterday as they just voted for a retired basketball player to be the mayor Hahaha.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Thats what bothers me too. My husband votes for the nation but not his state.

But hey he doesn't have to work here, whereas I do. He goes to Philadelphia every day to his great job, he has no complaints really and doesn't understand what it's like to see a huge portion of your pay cheque just go. I have never been taxed so hard.. and I'm Canadian.

I don't even know who I would have voted for. I don't identify with either party really. Who's the lesser of the two evils is what most people around me were asking.

I am all for social programs, but I think they need to be regulated and governed. You can't just throw money at people and organizations without really looking at where it's going. Hey there's some more jobs right there... :P

I don't know too much about either candidates, but I do know that the guy that won publicly discussed his, ahem, distaste for same sex rights. He wants to keep NJ's "moral" compass in check, idiot. So, I would have voted for the Democrat, based upon that.

I always vote, federal, provincial - hey I even drove down to the U.S. and voted in the Presidential!

I think one time I didn't vote in the city election here in Calgary - because I already knew what the outcome would be and I was happy with that.
