I was just wondering if anyone here as seen the BBC show, Dragon's Den... we have been watching it and it is ok.. but I am just getting really tired of the host guy and his voice over narration ... he talks to you like you are a little kid.... explaining everything you just saw or telling you what is coming up.. it is about to drive me mad :wacko::lol:

I don't often say this but I actaully prefer the US version, Shark Tank :lol:

There are two Canucks on Shark Tank so it's OK.

Cool.

I was so happy that my laptop I bought this summer had Window's XP on it. But I'm thinking I may buy myself a computer sometime later, so who knows what I might end up on that. I really not sure I want Vista. I've heard a lot of people don't like it much.

so the general manager at the warehouse where my husband works came up to him yesterday and said there was a spot open on day shift and that it would be available in a few weeks.... now we are not sure if he was saying that my husband would be starting in few weeks are that the spot would be officially open in a few weeks... :unsure:

but it seems like he possibly will get day shift.. I doubt they would make him interview again seeing as how he just had an interview a week or two ago...

Good Morning! Gene went to work today, he's feeling a bit better. He hopes he feels well enough to attend the Blues vs. Wildcats game tonight. He was invited to go with a friend from work. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You know, I don't mind football. I can put up with watching a game when Sunday comes around...

But why can no one ever PICK A DAMN GAME? It's like watching five different TV shows at a time... Pick one. Don't flip between every single game currently televised. It's hard to feign interest in Team 1 vs Team 2....

And let's hope there aren't any college games on to boot.

Honestly, how can one care about that many teams at one time?

Wow you would HATE the "Red Zone" channel. All they do is flip between games LOL

Also, I think the girls in the office are going to celebrate my birthday today since I'm not going to be here on Monday (neither is my boss, and another co-worker) so today makes sense :)

So the executive chef at my work has an American bff who lives in Canada with his wife and apparently he LOVES our healthcare system.

In fact he was told he would need back surgery last week and the scheduled him for yesterday and he was telling him that he was impressed with everything so far.

Yay! I love hearing that kind of stuff.

The chef just told me: "That's it I'm moving!" :lol:
