The lady said: "No" and told me that because Ethan missed his appointment I was basically banned from that office.

:o:lol::lol::lol:

I just made a reservation at Monticello in Niagara Falls for Saturday. Anyone eaten there before? Looks nice:

http://www.monticello.ca/index.html

Oh wow. That looks really nice, Peachey.

Krikit, that is normal for me too - I call to make an appointment with a new doctor and they tell me someone will call me back after they confirm that they accept my insurance - and then they tell me how much 'extra' I need to pay over and above what my insurer covers. I have an ongoing argument right now with the gynecologist. They said I needed to pay extra after they talked with my insurance company - but the insurance company says that I don't- and the difference between their price and the negotiated insurance price is what they charged me so they are basically violating their agreement with our insurer.

Someone called me back and my appointment is on Tuesday. I really really wanted to ask why someone had to call me back. lol. I think I will on Tuesday.

The reason I picked the Canadian doctor for my first visit was because he would be able to understand where I am coming from and my underlying confusion with the whole process. Hopefully, he and I will feel a rapport and I won't have to look further. Hopefully.

Well, today I am sore as all get-out. :crying: Yesterday afternoon I stopped by my friend's wine store. As I told her, the workout earlier had made me feel ill so if I'm going to puke I'm going to do it with wine. :lol: Anyway, she said "Are you coming to yoga tonight?" And I'm like :blink: "Carolyn told me it was cancelled!" She said the group had decided to go ahead and continue without her.... they were bringing in a video and would follow that instead. And so I'm sitting there with a glass of wine and we're yakking..... and my husband walks in the door!!!! It was so surreal! :lol: I had forgotten that he had a doctor's appointment (his first too, but a different doctor) because he doesn't usually get home that early. I'm like.... "Busted!!!!!" :lol: I said "What the heck are you doing here?!" He was driving by and saw the car. I said I was going to have to park somewhere else from now on. :hehe: Anyway, he told Nancy I'd be at yoga. So there I was at 7:00pm, walking into yoga class. :blink: omg. and ouch. But we had a great time and I'll be back again next week. But, boy, do I hurt. :dead:

I just realized I have 3 pay days this month!

I'm used to only having 2 a month.

Hooray for more money toward savings and my credit card.

Speaking of tv/western stuff, I've seen an actual Roadrunner in my fiance's backyard before. It was cool.

I've heard coyotes howling at night too, scared the ####### out of me when I first heard it and I hid under the sheets :lol:

Hehehe, not at all! I remember the first time I saw one too - 1979 in Saskatchewan. It totally surprised me because I ddn't know there was tumbleweeds in Canada.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
