Oh wow. Those are cool, Charles. Thank you.

That IS a cute video, Marilyn. lol

Good morning everyone. I said a sad farewell to my little Canadian car last night. I actually got choked up  .... like it was one more piece of my Canadian-ness being removed. :( Anyway, it was replaced by a new toy. I have a bit of reading to do so I can figure out all the gadgets. lol

Today they are giving away free regular and H1N1 flu shots in Kissimmee. I am debating whether I want to go or not. I should go. I'm just not crazy about getting stuff jabbed into my arm. Especially twice.

Oh I'll be sad too whenever the day comes to get rid of my car. It's the first car I ever bought, all on my own! Question: did you sell the car? My Dad thinks I'll have a harder time selling my car here, since it's in Kms and most Americans will just assume my car has 130,000 miles not Kms and not want to buy it

I traded it in. There is a large Canadian population down here who aren't scared of km's (somewhere.... not sure where... lol) and a friend of a friend was looking to possibly keep a car down here for their winter home, but nothing came of that. So then I considered just giving it to a family member, or possibly keeping it in Canada for when I visit. But then that brings its own set of problems. The dealership ended up giving me a fair price for it so it's now sitting on a lot in Daytona, waiting to go to the wholesaler's. Poor little car.

Good morning all!

Yes, krikit, what is the new vehicle!

I know how you feel, I felt bad selling our car - like we were leaving it behind  - but I think it will liked the florida weather!

Our car was obviously in kms and they didn't bat an eye at it (we sold it privately)

So we slept in this morning as we stayed up until like 2 - I forgot today was the day they were barging in to turn off the outside water (i've asked Mike to follow the guy when he does get here because I want to see where this outside water turn off is!)

So about half an hour ago there is a knock at the door and bang, he tries to get in (but of course we now keep the chain on the door). So - most people would leave a post it or just come back in a few hours, np - but he runs outside yelling "There is a chain on that one, there is a chain on that one". That made me laugh.

Yes you twit there is a chain on the apartment we pay for every month, which means you can't come in whenever you feel like it. Boo hoo

So my mom will officially sign the papers to be on the Lung Transplant List at Toronto General on Oct 7...1 day before I go up there for a visit.

She says to me on the phone "They better not call me while I'm having Thanksgiving Dinner, eating at The Keg (my grandma's / her mother's 80th birthday dinner) or while I'm at the Casino!"

It is a BMW 3 Series. A 330i. If I could find my camera icon2.gif I would take a pic and post it for you. But here's a stock photo:

 Congratulations to your Mom!

Trailmix, I would totally lose it if that were me. Good thing your lease is up soon. icon2.gif

Today I think I have orientation training at Gold's Gym. I say I "think" I do because I am notorious for not remembering appointments. I would have thought that they'd have called to remind me. Would anyone else have expected that? Anyway, I guess I am going to have to dig through my purse and see if I still have the appointment card. bleh.
