Going out to redstone tonight for a birthday. There's really nothing vegetarian on the menu except for flatbreads and sides... should be fun.

I saw a tofu curry dish in a magazine today and thought of you Nevada!

Tonight I am thinking waffles and eggs.

Tonight I'm making dinner for the family as they have adopted us as we wait for the ice to thaw in our house :P

I am making a simple alfredo sauce and toss fresh tagliatelle in it. I am also making chipotle chicken tacos and guacamole salsa.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Yesterday I made a beef stew in the crockpot. It was soooooo good! After putting in the vegetables, potatoes and meat, the broth I put on really flavoured the meal in such a different and great way! It had horseradish, vinegar, ketchup, mustard...anyway, it was very good. I made tea buscuits to go with it that were very good as well.

Tonight we'll finish the leftovers.

Tonight I am going to fry up some bacon and toss the left-over pasta on the fat... and crumble the bacon on top. Its really horrible and fattening, but the hubby can use a few good lb's... And Im going to make a very big salad for me and the MIL. Being snowed in is not good for the hips!

I had the best steak of my life last night! I'm not a huge red meat person, but this steak was to die for. We went to some fancy restaurant in the mountains for my SIL's birthday and Bill convinced me to at least try the steak. So I did, and wow! It was marinated in teriyaki and mango sauces so it had a sweetness to it, but it was so tender and mmmm. I want more.
