After the interview: how soon does the visa arrive?

Hi again,

I'm currently trying to move during the same week as the interview. As such, I need my visa before I can move. How soon after the interview at the montreal consulate does that visa, in the express post envelope, arrive? A day? Two? Three?

What was your experience?

Should still only take 1-2 days if you do the National Service.

The trick is when they put it in the mail.

I had my interview on a Wednesday and then the visa was delivered to me on the Monday after around 3 p.m.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

My interview was June 22 and it was delivered by 10:00 am on June 24th to Richmond, BC.

Hi Janet,

My interview was a Monday and I received it on the Thursday. I was surprised on how fast it got from Montreal to White Rock!

OOPS, should have read further down in the posts and I would have seen you received it already! Congratulations and good luck on your move!
