Hi, everyone. I have one question regarding interview date. Since we also filed for the K3 petition and we are eligible to schedule interview at the US Embassy Manila anytime. Is it possible for us to schedule for our k3 like mid of July and I have a schedule for CR1 on the 28th? I mean, I want to use our k3 interview schedule for our CR1, so we can do it earlier. Has anyone been in this situation? How did you handle it? Who should I call, embassy or NVC? If not, then we won't have any other option but to wait. ^ ^ Any ideas will be much appreciated! Thanks!

not a big diff really that worth the change (if changing is possible ) , i would do it if its a month or more diff ..

Mid July to July 28 is two weeks only ..,but anyway , only the Embassy can answer such a question according to their policy ..

so go a head ..call or Email them and u will get the correct answer

Good Luck :)

What visa did you follow at NVC? Did you ignore the correspondents of the K3?, and followed the CR-1 only?

Whatever you followed at NVC I believe that is your visa your interview for. Leave well enough alone or you just may confuse embassy

Truly happy!!!

Sorry there is something missing in the title...it should be cr1 interview DATE to K3 interview DATE and not the actual interview category. We both did the same. Done with k3 and done with CR1. I just wanted to know if there's a way I can have an early interview date. ^ ^

Thanks!!! My husband and I will talk about it. He just wants me to get to US earlier..but it seems that it will just bring up confusion at the embassy. So most probably, we would just stick to our CR1 interview. Maybe, that is really my day! Thanks!

Im confused, you only follow ONE if both are apporved, So if you alredy have CR-1 interview scheduled already, then that is the visa you will interview for.

You can follow both, and you can interview for both, but you might want to call the embassy to see if they will call NVC for your completed case CR1, and allow you to use your K3 interview schedule date for the CR1.

I just spoke to NVC regarding the same issue and this is what I have been advised. Good luck
