Using water when done "poo pooing" does get you clean but still I am not into getting my hand involved in the process. Slippery and slimy .... ick ick <he he> Mabaho !!

Yo_Hitman

hubby has this toilet bowl wherein you just press a button (when your done with the poop part) and it will spray some water on your butt and once its clean, it has an air dryer to dry it. You can also control the water temp too. They call this thing as Bidet...am not sure with the spelling.

I don't normally use the seatbelt in pi, but I don't have a choice here.

Believe the concept of Pinay and Kano is not politicaly correct. If Kano is an offset of American then by the same token Flip would be an offset of Filipino. Yea I know it can get confusing. Even if you live in the United States will your husband ever be anything but a Foreigner ? Or would you be the Foreigner ?

Its bidet. Its quite common in hotels in Japan. You could have even a toilet seat that is temperature controlled... :)

We have known each other for 6 years na (although we`d only been together in person for less than a hundred days, haha!) , we noticed lots of differences on how we do things... so here are the few things I can remember for now...

1. I use fork and spoon when eating while he uses fork and knife (see topic forum Filipino foods that my fiance kano doesnt like)

2. I use tabo at sabon (water and soap) after using toilet he uses tissue.

3. I remove my shoes before going inside and around the house he wears shoes inside the house.

4. I don`t give tips when eating in restaurants he always does give tips. Haha!

5. I don`t always follow traffic rules when driving (here in Phil, it`s just a suggestion, hehe) he does follow it and they`re not just rules.

6. I enjoy doing things for him (ironing his clothes, putting food on his plates or just being maasikaso) but he doesn`t like it. He prefer doing things with me (laundry, cooking, etc).

7. I don`t say thank you (salamat), excuse me, and other polite words that much but he does say those most of the time. Haha!

I am sure there are more that I forgot to list here but I want to know yours...

Looking in your timeline.. you are not yet in the US.

But once you are hear..

1. make sure that you follows the rules in driving, else you are endangering not just your life but also life of other people. You have to unlearn some of your driving behaviour from the philippines.

2. And you need to learn to give tips.. mostly 15% of your total bill

Just few tips for your US transitions. :)

:star:

you could try + or - 10. In highway, if the speed limit is 65... i drive up to 75 miles per hour. Ingat lang sa police... :) Speeding ticket here is less than USD 200. You just mail the check. That's it.

I don't use "tabo" anymore. I realized Shower is more convenient. I rarely use fork and spoon(since I got in the US). I'm used to fork and knife. "Himala" lol. My husband was so amazed that I easily get used to anything in the US. I hated a burger and pizza before. When he asked me why, I'd replied "those aren't food, those are just bread that couldn't make me full." lol but now, I can eat a burger for lunch and just pizza for dinner.:P My husband eats rice but I don't cook rice very often.

I don't have much trouble cooking for my love. He isn't so maarte when it comes to food. "Just don't let him eat the dried or salted (anchovies) fish.:lol: I have a friend and she said, she cooked dried fish in their house and while she was eating, her husband said " Are you eating shoes Honey?" Sabi ng mga kano amoy sapatos daw. :o Lol

hypocrit - a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

Pet Peeve for 2011 - supercilious, contemptuous, arrogant, attitudes.

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
