Hello everyone,

Just a quick post to introduce myself (ourselves) to everyone on the UK forum. I'm Jen (USC) and my husband is Richy (UKC) and we've just put our I-130 in on Wed. We're DCFing and we hope it will only take 6-8 months... but we'll see.

I moved over from the states in 2005 after being granted a Visa by the British consulate after a 2 hour process. We've been dreading applying for the Visa to the states for Richy because it seems like a nightmarish task of going round in circles! But, alas, here we are, beginning our journey!

I'm really glad to have a sounding board and a place to seek advice! Thanks for having a place like this for people like us!

2009-06-10 - I-130 Sent to Embassy

2009-06-15 - Petition Filed w/ USCIS

2009-07-26 - Petition Approved (41 days from I-130 Filing)

2009-07-28 - NOA2 Received

2009-08-05 - Packet 3 Received

2009-08-05 - Packet 3 Returned

2009-08-17 - Medical Appointment
