So my husband had his papers taken at the Dublin POE. Does this mean that in his AOS paper work we have to put Dublin as the port of entry?? Or do we put Chicago the airport he arrived in?? Technically Dublin Immigration was US soil so that is what we should put down but I just don't know. Any help??!

Yes put Dublin down as his POE. I went through Dublin years ago and my Parents will be coming through Dublin in Aug when they move here for good.

Can you give some details of his experience at Dublin that I can pass on to my parents.

Hi, I was with my husband when he went through the immigration police in Dublin. Before entering to the gate we had to have his I-94 form filled out. All the forms are in a room where you can fill them out. The I-94 is a long white form. Then we proceeded to the passport control area. The immigration officer took his sealed envelope and passport asked us to wait. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes then we were asked to come to a room where they gave him back his passport with the I-94 stapled in it. The woman working there was not very nice but the process was quick so we were lucky because we were late arriving from Barcelona and they held our plane from leaving without us! I hope that helps. If you or your parents have any more questions please ask!
