I was just curious if my Fiance will know the results for her medical exam after she completes it, or is it just sent to the Embassy? She wanted to wait to schedule the Interview until after the exam because she wanted to make sure we had no issues with the exam. She was only concerned, because she has never had a medical exam before. I tried to persuade her to just schedule the interview and we could cancel or postpone it if issues arised, but she did not want to do this. Will they tell her the results? Thanks

If she has a problem they will tell her about that and set up the required treatments.

If she passes she will not get her passport returned to her on the 2nd day and St Lukes will send everything over to the embassy. In order to link up her medical with the interview she will need to have the interview scheduled before she goes to medical. I believe the interview notice from the embassy is required before she can gain entry to St Lukes...

She can ask all the questions she wants but its a production line process and the staff may not have time to provide answers.

Good Luck!!

Better call the embassy call center to schedule her interview...they will let you choose what date then they will also give you date if u want to reschedule it... coz in my case, i called them up last may 25, then the date was given to me is between june 16-26.... so it means in every case there's a specific dates given to us to choose...have her medical exam 2wks before her interview...dont worry everything will be fine... it was also my first time ... got tensed but the next day.. thanks God... everything is okay....just trust HIM...and when she go there to st lukes bring the ff... medical fee 213 USD ( payable in peso, passport, 3 visa photographs and appointment lettr from USEM n confirmation number emailed by the embassy call center... good luck1 God bless US

yes she will know on the second day (or if she's real lucky, on the same day). if no problems are seen in her results, the next step will be vaccination and then submission of her passport and ID pics (for forwarding to USEM). If not, she'll see on her form what she needs to do, ex. treat an existing problem, say cough or cold, and she'll be given a schedule for reexamination (w/c could run from days to weeks). After that, vaccination etc.

either she or you could and should get an interview sched already, you won't always get the earliest you want.

good luck.

Hi!

First thing to be done is to set an appointment date of her Visa Interview, once you get that date then she is ready to go for her medical exam, she can go there early like a month before her interview and or at least a week before interview. But since she is kinda worried of the result, she can go have her medical exam a month before her interview (just like what i did which went perfectly just fine)

Tell her to just chill and relax and take extra care of herself as preparation for the medical and interview.

(i understand, i've been there eventhough i know i am ok but still i was freaking out like hell  lol)

IF everything went good with the result, St.Luke's will administer her some vaccines, if there is still need to have.

Then they will hand her cd-rom of her xray and a copy of the vaccines she completed and will need to complete when she get there in the US.

IF the result is she need to clear up something with her health, they will let her know and will ask her to undergo such medication for whatever is that needing for treatment.

She will be ok
