:hehe:

Just for shits and giggles.

I have 2.

I got my first one at 21 around my ankle.

The other I got a few years later on the other ankle.

NO REGRETS about it.

I don't mind tatoos. My ex hubby had way too many and big ones.

when I met him he had none, when we split he had like 8 or 10.

Current hubby has none, wants one before going home and I hope he just keeps his skin clean and pure :innocent:

I have one small one on my lower back. It's a symbol that I use to sign my artwork. Don't regret it but don't really show it off either. Husband has none and would never get one!

I'm glad someone else said it. Last time we had a discussion on tattoos here in the MENA section, I stated it and got bitched at for it. :P

I do however have a tattoo that I got when I was around 20 or 21 (almost 20 years ago). I honestly wish I had never gotten it, but until I can get it removed in the best way, it will stay. I don't want to have a scar in place of the tattoo.

Living with hubby in Egypt, at last.

I've heard that having a pre-existing tattoo is somewhat like the issue of non-Muslim name. As long as it's not anti-Islam then there's not much issue with it. I've also thought it was funny that it's totally ok to have your ears pierced (a form of mutilating your body), or your nose pierced (in countries like Pakistan/India/Afghanistan) but tattoos are a taboo. Also a lot of Berber and even Arab women in North Africa tattoo their chins and foreheads and this is considered acceptable. Who knows!

It seems my way with words isn't always so great, though I always mean things in the best way, when it comes to Islam.

I just need to learn a better way to say them. :)

Well shoot, a lot of us could use a lesson in that.... :innocent:

i must have missed the other tattoo discussion.

I have two. One on each outer calf. I like them both and have no regrets. they are both small and black. I would probably get one more, but Y isnt too thrilled with the ones I already have.

He talked about tattoos for himself but I dont think he would ever get one really. :the whole earlier stated elephant in the room reason: ;)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

OK being a tattoo artist I have 16 and I do want more. While online with Medo he said he wanted tattoos till he got here. But now dont want any. (GRRRRRR) And it is wierd that he is also a tattoo artist with no tattoo's. If I had it my way he would be covered with them, I think sleeves on a man are HOT
