I've searched the forum and couldn't find an answer to my question so here's my first post.

I'm in the middle of making a I-129F package.

Other Names Used.

My fiance is divorced and her name officially changed back to her original name.

So, for question 7, should I answer None, or should I enter her prior spouse's last name?

Thanks!

I know I forgot to put this one in and its been worrying me... I'm still waiting for my NOA2 (or maybe RFE now :( )

On had 2 other name changes (first name) which I did put in -- and it didnt leave any room for prior married name anyway. Her divorce papers went in... but maybe she could just say she never changed last names when she got married?

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 7, 2009 and August 22, 2009.

NOA2: July 23, 2009.

Intervew: Sep. 28, 2009 APPROVED

I arrive BKK Oct 29.

Marriage ceremony (non-legal) 6 a.m. Nov 2, 2552 Hua Hin, Thailand.

Arrive PDX Nov 7.

U.S. Marriage: 20-Dec-2009 Salem, OR

AOS filed 06-FEB-2010 (last possible day for valid postmark)

AOS Interview - APPROVED - 06-MAY-2010

and that brings up something I thought was a bit funny, but a total pain when I was doing the 129... Thai people changing their names whenever they feel like it.. arrgh.. On had 2 name changes, and her son had 3. and yes -- I had 5 certificates of name changes with translations and attestations in the packet.

Then the other day she was saying her son wanted to change his name again.. I had to tell her please no, wait until the 129 is approved first. hah

Wow, I didn't know they were like that. I'm all against making the i-129f package anymore complicated. haha

Thanks everyone! I'll be sending in my I-129F package soon.

Not sure about Bangkok, but Kiev required copies of my wifes former marriage certificate at the interview to prove her name has not changed. Check the Bangkok consulate website and see if this is required. If so, and USCIS soesn't catch it, you may be able to make a correction on your forms at the consulate during the interview. My wife made a correction to her G-325a at the interview, not critical, but it bothered her.
