So, I know that I read somewhere that if you try logging on to the fee collection site, and it doesn't let you, that it means that your case is near complete at NVC? Is this correct? Because I just tried to log on and it said that it couldn't log me on because this case is no longer eligible for processing at the NVC, or something to that effect.

Someone just tell me it's good! :blink:

April 3, 2009 - Case Number Assigned

June 5, 2009 CASE COMPLETED AT NVC

June 9, 2009 Interview Date Assigned

July 16, 2009 Interview AP

August 24, 2009 DOS Operator said "VISA HAS BEEN ISSUED TODAY" Alhamdulillah

August 26, 2009 call from embassy to PICK UP THE PASSPORT :-)

August 27, 2009 Picked up the passport... woohooo!!!

September 9, 2009 US Entry InshaAllah

October 13, 2009 SSN and green card in mail DONE WITH USCIS until husband applies for his citizenship!!

The journey of 4 years, 8 months, and 3 weeks has ended!!!

I just spoke to the operator and I was told that my case is in the final stages of being completed.. they have asked me to call them back in couple of days.. yeah right.. I will call again as first thing in the morning :$

I really hope that we get the July interview.. keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Well,,, from the look of your time line. You mailed your DS-230 May 21,. Well mine was received the 18th. So i don't know if 1st come 1st serve is really in effect here. It's a little frustrating sometimes if you know what i mean. But congrats on your case, hope mine will come tomorrow. Safe journey ahead.

and yes I understand exactly what you mean.. I have been dealing with immigration for 4 years and it has been a frustrating journey :(

Yeah i got the false RFE a couple of days ago,, i was shocked at 1st, but it was explained to me shortly. Some one told me that it was a good sign. Yeah my best bet is to just keep bugging NVC :yes: Yeah i will definitely be posting something when i get the GOOD NEWS... Thanks

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

1st come 1st serviced has never been in effect, yeah-yeah they may say it but thats not the way it is.
