Hello everyone,

Just trying to prepare AOS docs here, hence my question: If your sponsor's income is way above poverty guidelines, do you have to attach anything more than 3 last IRS transcripts to your I-864ez? Or is that enough?

Thanks for your help.

Mikey

You say AOS are you adjusting status?? Or you send an Affidavit of Support to NVC? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...page=definition

You say filed for other which can be adjustment from a visitors or perhaps a student visa, and you timeline does not help either. :time:http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=66646

Please correct your profile to what you are filing for: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01

I-864 or I-864EZ only requires past year's return (2008) additional years up to 3 (2007,2006) can be attached of you feel this will help.

To clarify, I am talking about Affidavit of Support and docs that accompany I-864ez, and I was just wondering if attaching 3 last year's of IRS tax transcript will be enough. The income on all of them is above 2009 poverty guidelines

Yes 3 years are fine, also you can attach a letter from employer and copies of a few recent pay stubs.

Again update profile and do a timeline, this will get your questions answered better.

Is this to do with NVC, or are your doing DCF filing to the consulate?? Your profile says "Other"

hey mikey,

i am in the same boat with u. yes only 3 years tax will be enough with I-864EZ.

just make sure dont send copy bcz u need to get notorized from the local office of IRS

or get the real copies from the IRS directly.

good luck

i am doing mine tomorrow bcz my CPA just gave me the copies and your local IRS

office will do them free notorized. good luck.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
