It has taken a lot for me to post personal things in public on here. Mostly cause I got beat the shyt out of on another board for saying things. You tend to become gun shy everywhere. Mostly, I have tested the waters about non-confrontational personal subjects and saved the others for PMs or emails with people I truly trust.

If I hear someone mention something similiar I have been through or I think they can help me, I will PM and spill or ask for advice. Those of you who I have spilled to know exactly what I am talking about.

JG, speaking for myself I do appreciate your reaching out to me and you are one of the main reasons why I stayed on this thread. I felt that those who happened to have stepped in some sh8t on here were made to feel stupid and also that there were only two categories of relationships on here. Those who had a perfect relationship and those who were destined for failure because of their 'dumbness' (yes I made up my own word). Most people don't mind advice, ideas, gut feeling, etc. but please don't make the person feel stupid for being blinded. At least not during the painful process, maybe after the mourning process.

Just my two cents!

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Here's some controversy

OK..so some of u ladies here are with a Rasta man. From my understanding a real rasta man wouldn't be with anyone but his Black African Empress...is that so..and are ur SOs true rastas?

More controversy....

If that is the case, then they can only be with people of African descent and not all Jamaicans embrace their African ancestory. Where then does a Rasta man go to find his African Empress?

hmm..last time i checked Jamaican doesn't mean Black or African..this question was directed towards the Rastafarianism..

Jamaica=mosh pit of Black-white-indian-chinese-japanese-koreans-lebonese and anything else u can think of

Also..Rastafarian Movement begun with Marcus Garvey

"His basic idea was that freedom and redemption for blacks would only be found in Africa because European colonization and slavery had fragmented the African culture and spirituality"

That was the point I was trying to make, "Black African Empress" to me means African. So where do Rastafarians find their women since Rastafarians mainly live in Jamaica?

Hey wakey...i can imagine..lol...how r u doing?

Giiiiiiiiiirrrrll My back was killing me yesterday. The little chairs they give you to sleep in at the hospital is a joke. I'm going to get dressed and head back over there in an hour or so...

I'm sitting here researching a new business. The travel one isn't generating enough money for me and the only way to get the good money is to bring others to the business. Not my thing. I'm not good at pitching that. lol. I'm thinking of jewelry or purses cause I know women like our accessories. Whatchathink?

ahhahaa..dang no cots...

i think jewelry would be great

There was this reclining leather chair and I couldn't adjust it correctly. If I let the back down to far it would throw my feet in the air and if I left it up to far I was sleeping sitting up. Just a hard position for sleeping.

Jawi is doing good so far pain not as bad as yesterday and she is going to bathroom by herself and eating solid foods. Whoot Whoot. I'm praying for her total healing with this surgery. Amen

Wakey, I am imagining you trying to adjust yourself in that chair and just kept cracking up. Please don't make your sister burst out laughing while she is laid up in the hospital.:rofl::rofl:

Wish Her Well for me. She is in my prayers.

Morning yardies!!!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Intimacy....In/to/me/see...

That was the point I was trying to make, "Black African Empress" to me means African. So where do Rastafarians find their women since Rastafarians mainly live in Jamaica?

Well..u would probably have to find a real Rasta and ask that question. This question in regards to the Rasta mn married/dating a white woman. And i see Black African Empress as meaning a woman heading back to Africa (basis of Rastafarianism) An Empress is a woman who is on the journey back to Africa with her Rasta man. So in that case, the Rasta man can look for his Empress anywhere if she is Black on the journey. If you check out the history of Rastafariansm, they do not even in Americans to be on this journey. This religion has come a long way and have been adopted by many and has been changed to fit some cultures.

Hope that helped answered ur question.

IMO, a woman/man is STUPID if they knowingly stay in a relationship they KNOW in their hearts WILL not become anything.
