emergency in Jordan

Hey

I need to ask someone if they know anyone in Jordan. My husband is stranded in Jordan. He has his jordanian passport and is there for work. He can start a new job tomorrow. The problem was that since it took him 2 months to get the money to return to Jordan, the jordanian government made him pay for a new passport and now he is on the streets with nothing. He has only had falafal and water to eat from a stand and that is it for the day as he is scared to part with his last money:(

Does anyone know anyone he can stay with until he gets his first paycheck? (in a month per his soon to be boss). He has tried asking on the street and no one will help him and he has asked a few imams and they all give him attitude and asking him why he came to Jordan without money. He had money but he had to spend it to get a new passport.

This is terrible. I hope he finds help soon. Is there any way you can western union him some money?

Sending him money for now till he meets connections at work, etc might be best. I have relatives and friends there but most are females or have young females in the home so they would not be able to assist. Sorry I really hope all works out for him.

Try to send him some money from here. Anything to help him while he finds a place to stay in Jordan.

I did wu him some money but not too much. He is going to try to talk with the renters to see if he can pay some moneyu now and more when he gets his first paycheck.
