Dress rehearsal went well. She was able to leave after her first number, thank God!! GG I will post some pics once hubby gets them off of the videocamera. Unforunately, they only allow cameras during the dress rehearsal which sucks. They want you to buy a DVD for 30 bucks...no way!

I will probably be bringing Malek with me to the recital. As much as I hate it so far I have had no luck finding somebody to watch him. I just layed him down for a nap so I am praying he gives out soon and falls asleep before we leave at 215.

BRNI----the park looks really nice. We have something like that here. It's about an hour and a half away. We went camping last year there but I soon enough found out that I am just not a camper.

I can't wait to see your hair Tamara. When I got mine cut short and colored almost to my natural dark color I walked in the house and my husband was in the bedroom and he thought I was somebody else.

Bridget, I know about sore elbows! I hope that your daughter gets to feeling better this weekend.

Ok, heres my new short hair cut... hasnt been short in 8yrs! Feels pretty good and MUCH easier to dry and less knots!

btw, the picture being square sized makes me look terrible! I will have to figure out how to make a bigger picture later on.

From what I can see it looks cute! Are your bangs long and pulled back? The color looks rich and dark.

These dance studios must have the cut in the picture and video business, ours was the same NO PICTURES DURING THE SHOW. I can understand the concept, you don't want some parent blocking your view with a camera. But they always offer $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ DVD after, that they themselves are only one's that can do the cameras. They use to also set up the professional pictures during the dress rehearsal, and they were pricey. Dress rehearsal can also be a long damn day. Good thing she could leave after her number, that always is sweet, if their number is in the beginning.

Olivia you are definitely not in Kansas anymore :P I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Tamara - hair looks cute

Tasha, I feel your pain regarding taking the munchkin along. I've had to drag amirah to several concerts and awards ceremonies for my son and its really never a pretty scene. have fun with that ;)

Happy Sunday everybody

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

another exciting day here in kansas. i'm cleaning the gravel and sand off the asphalt road out front so the dust is kept to a minimum during the summer months.

love the hair tamara!!! Is your hair naturally curly? Mine used to be straight as a board and as soon as I had Emily it looked like I put my finger in an electric socket. (kids can do that to you lol). Been curly ever since.

I want to hilight my hair blonde but the last time I did that was before I met Usama and he always thought it was grey hair, not blonde. OMG that freaked me out so I've had it dark ever since.

I remember when Ahmed and I went to the embassy to get our marriage paperwork for our wedding and Ahmed over slept. So, we had go back two days later to get the paperwork, which pushed back our wedding to the 26th of June.
