Was just about to mail it off and I re-read the shortcuts which specifically say don't do anything until one is generated. Then they talk about E-MAILING it. HOW?

I partly understand that since I never got anything E-MAILED nothing has been "generated" yet. However, I recieved in the mail info for paying my AOS and a copy of my 3032 with bar code and wifes name as well as the NVC case #. I also have the invoice I.D. #. All that tells me they are ready for it. Should I overnight it to the address they provided? It has her signiture and is ready to go.

Everyone gets that message, it is a auto response. No need to resent it as long as you included all the information required. If you used the template link I gave you then you are all set.

You should get a response in 7 -10 days or sooner if you are lucky.

that's normal, and in fact a good sign. means their servers didn't reject it. now you've got to wait for someone to read it!

send a hard copy in the mail too, just in case. sometimes they get to that one quicker.

I did not bother with the snail mail copy as the officer at NVC told me they do not need it if you emailed and got the auto response email back.

Yes they probably don't need it, but there's a chance they will get to the paper copy first, do you know what I mean? If they get a ton of emails then it's possible and I've seen it before quite a few times. It can't hurt and it only costs 44 cents.
