Upon request, I am starting this thread for all those who believe in the Lord, our God, and for those who may be second-guessing their faith. Come here for words of encouragement and support, when you are feeling down and depressed and when you are happy too! We are here to help each other through this! We can make it, just don't let go of God's unchanging hand! Feel free to post scripture and encouragement and any daily prayer needs. I will be here praying for you...I promise!

God is an Almighty, All Powerful, Healing God and I pray right now that God send a special touch and blessing for your grandmother...that His will be done in her life and that He blesses your family as well. Keep the faith cel4u...I will be praying!

I often struggle with fear, and certainly a lot of unnecessary worry. When these moments enter my head, I have to remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but one of a sound mind. What is fear?

In all things thank Him....for the things He has done, the things He is doing, and the things He is going to do for us. We are so undeserving of His mercy, but so thankful to be under His grace and love.

This is the body....we need this fellowship and indeed I thank you for starting this thread. Although we will be able to lift each other up in prayer, the real reason for this threads creation is to lift Him up that He may be glorified. Amen?

Absolutely....I feel that we should bring more awareness to Him...lift Him high & praise His name...thank Him daily for all He has done for us, for dying for us on the cross and saving us from our sin. Praise His holy name!!

Hi all, lately, I've been trying to put my RFE outcome into his hands, but I cant let go of it, and wait for Our Lord to give me his answer. I oftern read that pray Nagishkaw posted not too long ago, reading it brings me peace, and its so true and soothing. I often why this journey, why did my husband and I meet, if we can not be together, I only wish I knew what the Lord had in store for us. But questioning him is wrong, I need to just believe in what he has in store for us.

Im sorry for my rambling, this RFE has made me a wreck.

Hi Paris...welcome....this visa journey stuff is super hard....I have found myself with your same feelings several times in the past 7 months. Although I still hit my depression ruts, I have made it my goal to turn the negative thoughts and feelings around. Seriously...the hardest thing is to let go & let God, but you must. Please don't be offended, but for starters maybe you should take the "starting to loose faith" off of your signature. Don't let go of your faith. He is there beside you, pleading to you to let go of your burdens and place them at His feet. God placed your husband in your path for a reason. Remember, and this is something I have to remind myself of constantly, He doesn't give us more than we can handle. But when you start to let the negative thoughts creep in, that is when the Devil takes the opportunity and runs with it...he will beat you down until you have lost your faith completely. Its like Nagi told me not that long ago...Don't take that ####### from him...God is on your side so you have no reason to be afraid. My prayers are with you Paris!! Look up and know that sometimes you just have to let Him carry you...you can't walk it alone.

Father, I love you. I know Your heart is unhindered by negitive emotions. Protect us from ourselves and help us through these great trials that we face daily. Paris...questioning our Lord is right! That is exactly what He wants us to do! You would question your husband, family members, friends, yes? And why? Because you trust them. You know you have a close relationship with them and they would never steer you in the wrong direction on purpose. He wants a relationship with his children, not just us going through the motions, repeating the same worn out ritualistic prayers. He even goes so far as to say, Test Me!

We may never know why we have to go through these horrible times. Perhaps it is to test our faith, or to make us stronger only through His power, or maybe one day you can help others because of what you suffered and give hope through your testimony. Maybe it is that He wants to take us higher in Him but first we have to go through the refining stage. Wait on Him and trust that no matter what the outcome, in the end He will get the glory. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts! Remember what the Scriptures say...If you ask your father for bread would he give you a stone?
