01/08/2009 - POSTED NOA1 to VSC

01/13/2009 - RECEIVED NOA1, Case Pending

02/06/2009 - TOUCHED - Finacee moved so I presume that was the reason for it

05/20/2009 - Contacted Congressman's Alan Grayson's Offices to ask for assistance on our case, He agrees

06/13/2009 - 5 months and nothing, not even from our congressman :( Were is our NOA2!!!!!!

06/16/2009 - Our congressman actually made contact us for the first time in 4 weeks only to tell us they had written our address down wrong so here we are, still stuck in limbo with not a clue what's happenening

06/17/2009 - Called NVC on a off chance they might have it and they do!!!!! Woop woop. All we need now is that hard copy and were set!

06/17/2009 - NVC send our visa and petition to the london embassy - My packet 3 is on the way, woop woop!

06/19/2009 - Recieved NOA2 in the post, dated 06/11/2009. The panicing is over.....for now

07/01/2009 - Reeceived Packet 3 in the post, woop woop

Posted this in the January thread as well.. but I called NVC today just to see if they had my file and the man started spouted off my email address, my phone number, my SO email address to verify so I knew they had it.. He then gives me my NVC case number and proceeds to tell me that Im in "additional processing".. EEWWWWW! Yes, Im thankful Im past USCIS (since NVC has my case now) but additional processing? Why, why, why... The saga continues.... I dont know exactly why you get put in there, someone said background checks..

AOS Journey:

Whew! Done!.... Well, for the next two years anyway...

Looks like its going to be good news for you guys soon then :dance: . Were still in limbo so beleive me when I say I would kill to be in your posistion of knowing that at least something is being done or starting to happen.

Sure why not. Need the suger to cheer me up after another dissapointing week. What a mix - a depressant like rum and stimulant like tropical popsicles. I'm going to be all over the place tonight. :wacko::wacko:

This is got to be the dumbest thing. We paid a good chunk of change to a government agency to perform a service, we're treated terribly when we call and we're given no avenue to check on the progress of our cases. Personal opinion but I'm game for causing some commotion legally. Has to be some way to put some pressure on these people so that they would perform the job they are being paid to do. We've got a system that evidently is put in place to post some progress and money being used to maintain a site and all of this is not be utilized. This is #######! :angry:
