Co or joint sponsers

If I opt to use my parents for co/joint sponsers, which forms would they have to fill out and what documents of theirs would I need to send?

For me, I undersand I-864 and I have the past 3 years tax transcripts plus last years tax returns.

My address is the same as theirs.

If your parents are in the same household, they have to use the form I-864A. If NOT in the same household they have to use the form I-864 and they have to submit the same documents as you do PLUS a copy of their Naturalization Certificate and Passport...For further info just call NVC and talk to an operator....Good luck and safe journey ahead.

if you live with your parents... then they should fill up 1864A

if you dont live with them - they have to fill up 1864

if your dad is ur co sponsor - he needs to submit his tax transcript, w2 for the past 3 years.. 2006 to 2008

Thanks, now on the same topic.

Would I send his paperwork in with mine when NVC asks for the I864 or do I just do it during interview stage?

If I use him as a co or joint sponser would he have to show enough for 4 people (me, my wife, my dad, and mom) since we will reside in the same house?

How about me? Show for 4 or just me and my wife since she is all I would be supporting?

Just choose one - either ur dad or ur mom....

If you choose ur dad - it will be YOU, YOUR WIFE and UR DAD

Submit this to NVC 1864, your tax transcripts 2006 to 2008, W2 (2006 - 2008) paystabs and employment letter...

SAME as your FATHER... He needs to submit this documents to NVC also..
