for all the support & help I've been having since 2006!!!!!

Last April I got my 10 yr GC but I was not able to send a message here at this forum as I was in my country for visiting, so in the meantime finally the GC got in my mailbox.

It has been a long journey started at the end of 2005 & probably will continue since I wanna get the US citizenship but I will take it easy for a while now. I strongly believe that without VJ & all of you guys out there it would have been more difficult & much more expensive.

Thanks again for all your support & all your precious info, advice & hints during all this time.

K1 VISA: 07/25/06 GOT VISA!!!!!!

30th of September 2006 WEDDING

AOS:01/29/2007 received Permanent Resident Card (GC)

ROC:04/11/2009 received Permanent Resident Card (GC) expiring in 2019!!!!

N-400:

on 05/21/2010 Sent out docs to Arizona Lockbox Facility address via USPS

on 06/30/2010 Biometrics

on 09/24/2010 Interview Day - Passed the Test

on 10/19/2010 Oath - USA CITIZEN!!!!!

on 10/20/2010 I requested the US Passport

on 11/02/2010 the US Passport was received by Priority Mail

on 11/03/2010 @ the Social Security Office I changed my status from Resident to US Citizen

ON THE 3RD OF NOV.2010 MY JOURNEY ENDS, WHICH STARTED IN DEC. 2005!!!!!!!THANKS TO VJ & VJ PPL!!!!!!!!

08/13/2008 I-130 approved

07/13/2009 IV interview at Tokyo, Japan

07/15/2009 IV(IR-1) in hand

Post-DCF

07/29/2009 POE at Las Vegas

08/17/2009 GC(10yrs) received

Done with USCIS until

- naturalization in May 2012 or

- GC replacement in February 2019

Removal of conditions

March 17 Refiled using new I-751 form

April 16 Biometrics done

July 10 Green card production ordered

Citizenship

Jan 20 filed N400

Feb 04 NOA date

Feb 24 Biometrics

May 5 Interview - Centennial (Denver, Colorado) Passed

June 10 Oath Ceremony - Teikyo Loretto Heights, Denver, Colorado

July 7 Received Passport in 3 weeks

Shredded all immigration papers Have scanned images

Congrats on your approval and hope that you had a good time on your trip to Italy....

I agree, that without the help of those on VJ that it would have been "so much more difficult and much more expensive" on our immigration journeys.

So like you, I would like to say, "Thank you VJ, for being a helpful, supportive, and friendly online community for us all!"

Onwards to citizenship for you! Good luck with the rest of your journey too.
