Well, going through this process like everyone one else experiences is so stressful.

Right now I am so stress, being near 3 months pregnant does not help, thanks to the hormone overflow. But what I am really freaking out about is this...

My fiance and I do have a lawyer, but I am the first DOD contractor that they have had that has worked in Iraq for the US military (always on a US base) so they said that I shouldn`t need anything because it was in IQ and because I was always on a US military base, and would not even exist in the IQ records. But the word "shouldn`t" bothered me and I didn`t want to show up to the interview and be surprised if they asked for something, so I sent Montreal an e-mail last night, explainging that I just wanted to clarify that I did not need anything.

Well, my fiance then said to me, hmmm, maybe that was not a good idea, maybe it will put your application under more scrutiny....arrggghhhhh

All I wanted to do was clarify something that was bugging me and now I am freaking out.

E-mailing Montreal was not a bad thing was it??? This stress is so not healthy for me or the baby. Egads, someone please reassure me.

Oh please! I've e-mailed the Montreal Embassy no fewer than 7 times so far! And for minute things like the size of photos needed.

You're fine. There is a reason why the embassy has an e-mail to begin with, to answer your questions.

Good luck.

I have emailed the consulate in Kiev many, many times. It has never been a bad thing. I think you were the one that asked about Iraq police certificates, yes? They are not available so you are not required to have one. The consulates are usually prtty good about answering. be awre the consulate will be closed Monday for Memorial day. US consulates are always closed for US holidays and the holidays of the countries they are in.

Thanks,

I am just a worry wart these days. It's funny, you start to look at everything and freak out with no reason. It's tough too, because my fiance and I have been through alot (many close calls in Iraq where I met him) and we planned this pregnancy so he could be present for the birth and have time with our 1st child before he goes away for work in the spring.

I just can't imagine what I would do if something was to go wrong with the visa process, I love this man so much.

Thanks for the reassurance, I definatly need some
