Case sent back to US

I called DOS today after a 4 weeks of getting different responses other than AP.....I was put on hold for a while and then was told the embassy sent the the case back to the US I am having a panic attack I dont know what this could be about can anyone share any light on this matter.

Please calm down, this is a strange news considering they did not send it back as soon as they recieved the case. There is still a slight chance of error on the part of DOS, have you asked only one representative? You need to take quick action and follow the directions on the cases being sent back area of VJ. I will look for a link and post it, you must e-mail/call the embassy and as soon as you can, must inform them of the case and how this case can be finished if you can send more doruments or proof, or what was insufficient - you must work quickly. I know there are people here, emt03, MaryandMian who know much more about this, I feel sick to my stomach and so bad for you I will give you the link, and pray for you and it may have been a mistaken update - it is kind of late in the process to send it back so please calm down, God knows best and your end result will always be good if your heart is in it and you have honest intentions.

Thanks Tammy I was thinking maybe this is a mistake because the last E-mail I got from the Embassy was about a month ago. The letter stated that if they didnt intend on issuing the visa they would not be doing the AP. I sent them an email a few minutes ago its 6am there so I have a few more hours to wait before I try calling them. My husband will be waking up soon maybe he has heard something from them if not I dont think I will tell him about this until I know what is going on. I feel sick...... thanks agin for any info

This is unbelievable, after 10 months of AP, they just send it back to US, did they ask for additional documents while you waited for AP, this is not just so fair? sorry to hear that!

My husband received a call from the Embassy Monday and LOL just like a man he didn't hear the phone He called them back today and was unable to speak with anyone they told him to send an email. I am waiting for DOS to open to see what they tell me today also I sent an email to the Embassy but I havent heard anything He is also sending an email what a nightmare

The embassy called?! Well this good! I believe this may have been a mistake - most likely they just want additional documents, NOT sent back to USCIS. DOS is notorious for giving wrong information so don't freak out. I am however very irritated that your spouse missed the call - would have saved some gray hairs for you - now listen- You have to call asap - and your better make your husband pay attention all future calls - keep that phone under his pillow if he has to. I think this was a mistake, I have never heard of 10 months fo AP then USCIS - I believe the embassy is actually going to issue this visa but needs additional documents from the applicant - which is why they called and they will issue the visa soon. Stay strong and make your calls, you can do this. Believe in it, the visa will come and your case will end soon in good result.

Thanks for all the support .....still no news I called DOS this AM and was told the case is pending I asked her if the case was sent to the US she said there is nothing in your file to indicate it was transferred I call back around 4:30pm and was told the case was sent to NVC from the Embassy on May 14 and that was the last update so it is in transit and can take 3 weeks to show up When my husband wakes up I will see if he has heard anything I am staying strong and I do know that his Medical has expired maybe they are asking for a new one.

My senators office has called me 3 times this week and wriiten to letters but so far the Embassy has not responded to them either and DOS said the case was returned to the US on May 14 but they didnt know why so with Monday being a holiday I have one extra day fo waiting. Its hard since I dont know why the case was returned I dont know which way to turn hopefully I will hear something on Tuesday at least the senate office is being very supportive

you will serprise from my story. after interview on 13 may. embassy was doing Ap on my case. after 8 mounth after 4 221g letter finaly recived 4 times call from embassy to submit my passport as soon as possible. when i bring my passport. person on window refuse to recived passport he told to i can submit pasport only with 221g letter( indicate requriment of passport). but the lady called told if person will not revive passport . i can call her on window.

but the person at window refuse to call her even.

then i sent email on 7 jan 2009 ,requesting for 221g letter so i can submit passport.

i got reply 14 jan 2009 they dont requried anything my case in in AP.

after that i called 4 times on deffrient date i got reply that my case in AP.

on 22 feb i got reply that they sent my case back. i was serprised

i called my congrsee man he checked got reply that embassy returned my case on 13 jan 2009.

how it possible that is they replying on 14th by email. 16, 18, --- that my case is in embassy and they doing AP on my case. if they send my case on 13 jan,,,,,,,

i called DOS they said somthing mistick happened. but they cant do any thing right now.
