Well, got an RFE in the mail today. Seems as if the officer wants a certified, Russian to English translation of Marianna's divorce decree and birth certificate. I suppose I should have thought of this BEFORE I sent the I-129F paperwork, but what is, is. My bad. Oddly enough, the birth certificate is redundant to Marianna's passport (which we also submitted), so while I do understand the RFE for the divorce document, I do not understand why we're asked to translate the birth certificate.

No matter. We must move on. I'm actually happy that we've had SOME correspondence, rather than the nothing that we have gotten from the VSC to date. The website, by the way, does not show an RFE "touch" and there was no e-mail.

So, All... Where do I find a quick and reputable translator? Can I do this online? Any suggestions? Thanks!

All documents submitted to USCIS or the consulate need to be translated to English. The odd thing is that neither the birth certificate or passport of you finacee are necessary for the I-129f, so they are asking you to translate un-needed documents. Oh well. You will also need them for the interview, plus the police certificate and possibly her former marriage certificate or change of name certificate (however Russia does it).

My wife does certified Russian and Ukrainian translations. You can also check at local universities as a source for translations. I use "Prompt" for online translations, it is free but not terribly accurate.
