If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Jen, Liza, Steven, Candid, I miss you guys terribly :cry:

Adjustment is a little harder than I expected. Not too bad, just little things here and there. I've got some medical stuff going on and so I haven't been feeling 100% so I'm sure that is exacerbating everything too. Still can't believe my husband is here. When I'm at work sometimes I'll be distracted and then realize, wait, he's here! I can call him, now, if I want :lol: Walking through the door and seeing him there is still the most awesome feeling ever! I woke up this morning and opened the garage door and couldn't believe my eyes. Clean as the day I bought the house :wow: He totally cleaned it out and now there is actually a usable gym in there! No excuses to not exercise :help:

I left a message on C's cell phone to call me. I am sure she is soooooooo happy right now. Costa Rica is very easy and the employee's are very helpful and nice. I'm sure she didn't have any issues... i just wish she would hop online so we can pick her brain !! LOL

I'm so sorry you guys! I was planning on getting online but had the day from hell...I'll tell you another time. Just have had several medical and dental issues...plus adjusting with the hubby and getting a million other things done. I have been so out of it. I feel bad that for our first few weeks together, he has to deal with me at my worst, but then again, that's marriage right? He's stuck with me for the good :innocent: and bad :devil::lol: Hopefully we can try to meet online tomorrow (Friday). That might work better for me. I hope :wacko: I can't make any promises because it's like I go from work, home to more work :lol: But I'm loving every minute of it :D

Okay, I've finished all my work for today...and am antsy to get back home ;) I think I will leave early today. First a smoke break, then I can see how I feel :P

I must agree with Lisa...my husband has dealt with my temper tantrums, laziness, and sicknesses (do not mix PMS, radiation, and dental work into one week...it is very ugly :dead: ) He's handled everything well...and all very patiently and for the most part, like a true gentleman. I cannot ask for a better man :wub: I'm feeling better today so hopefully I'll go home, make him a nice dinner, and then maybe we can go out a little this evening. I can't wait for him to be able to drive so that I don't have to! :lol:

Lisa, Candid...how are you guys doing with the driver's license issues? I haven't even thought about it lately. He's complaining that he needs an educational CD for the written part. I don't know why he won't take my word and just study the practice questions in the book and that he'll do fine... He seems to think it's going to be majorly hard :bonk:

Cannot do anything when it comes to license yet.. I am still waiting for my SSN card which I might receive within the next 5 days.. Just hate the thought of going through the written and road test again.. :wacko: I called DMV in NJ and asked if I could drive using my Phil license but the lady said that I wasn't allowed since I am on immigrant visa which makes me a legal resident in here. So I need to have a valid NJ license before I could go back to driving.. ;)

Hi all :)

It is now official. Hubby arrives Saturday evening! He booked his ticket yesterday and Friday was already all full!! Less than 48 hrs left and still so much to do! It of course doesn't help that we are having a huge BBQ with the entire family on Sunday! So we will barely have time to breathe b4 the whole family comes knocking :devil::whistle::lol: Just kidding I love family time, but wish hubby had more time to settle down and more us time (F)(L):luv: U know wt I mean.... ;) I want to apologize in advance for not being visible over the next few days as I will be so busy with hubby and family/ bday preparations, shopping, cleaning :unsure: The list is endless....

Im buying a Honda Civic tonight. Its really cheap and I need something before the 29th It will get me from A to B for now. It is an automatic and I wanted a manual. The paint isn't nice but there aren't any dents. UGHHHHHHHHH. I am soooo bummed out. OH well at least Im not walking ..LOL
