Last year I sent three things USPS Express Mail to NVC and had no problem except arrivng in 2 days instead of one.

This year I sent one package USPS to NVC and they LOST the package. It's been 4 weeks and nowhere to be found.

The mailman said that FEDEX handles the air for USPS.

I would not reccommend USPS or FEDEX.

And if you use UPS, go to the UPS location where you would pickup stuff.

Another person told me if you use the UPS store, and if there is a problem, UPS won't help you. It is the store's problem.

I'm resending from out of the country next week. And I'm going to use DHL. It's too bad they don't do domestic.

They did a good job getting the documents here in the first place.

Hi,

Sending package in tomorrow and I read recently about the best way to send it, and now I cannot find it!

I think it said to send it USPS rather that UPS or FEDEX, is that correct? I assume I want a signature of receipt right?

Send USPS Express WITHOUT requesting a return receipt! If you request a signed return receipt it will be send back to the receiving PO if there's no one to sign for it at time of delivery. Still will get there but may take a little longer.

Send it VIA USPS and pay extra for:

1. Certified Mail (will allow you to track it online AND will require a signature upon delivery)

2. Return Receipt (provides you with a green postcard which will be sent to you with a copy of the person signing for the package).

It's important to get the green postcard because should you be unlucky and find that VSC or CSC loses your petition, this will prove that you did in fact mail it to them.

I have sent 3 petitions to VSC in this manner and they have ALL been fine.

What mozplay said! That is how I have always done it, no need to fork out extra cash, and the US Postal Service works great. Just be sure, certified and return receipt requested. Good luck!

The delivery confirmation with USPS is all I did and it got there just fine. Cost me about $5. I have an email as evidence that they received it so I am covered in that regard. If they lose it, send it again. You have 90 days so I wouldn't really stress about it too much.

Hi remconds,

All the members have give you advice to the best of their knowledge. I have USPS Express mail with delivery confirmation

with no problem at all.

I would suggest do what "mozplay" suggested.

Send it VIA USPS and pay extra for:

1. Certified Mail (will allow you to track it online AND will require a signature upon delivery)

2. Return Receipt (provides you with a green postcard which will be sent to you with a copy of the person signing for the package).

Good Luck.
