Will see how it goes! Will be interesting to see what their counter offer will be. Going to be busy times for us the next while!! Were off to Newport RI from this Fri to Wed. Then I depart for Saskatoon from7-21 July, requested a settlement date for July 24, then we take off to California from 4-12 Aug, plus I have a Biology course to complete by Sep 01 and I just started it because I wanted to complte my Microbiology first, plus throw in moving!! Whewww. Wish i could just drop the BIO!! HAd to reformat my computer last night!! Lost everything. Wouldnt even load in safe mode!! What a pain!! Guess I should hit the books for a bit. Everyone have a Great Canada day!! Scott

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

No time for boredom for you! Just take each day as it comes and accomplish what you can. The whole thing is like eating an elephant. Keep taking small bites and it'll all be finished by September. Good luck with the condo and the course.

We live in the same building yet have never met yet!! lol Want to help us move? great time to meet, lol! Just kidding!! 1 of these days we shall meet up for a beer!! Always seem to be busy as of late, either school or something. I had to reformat my puter last night so I lost al info, including ur email addy!! Not a happy camper!! The one good thing with us possibly vacating the building is that it frees up another parking space outside, since we have 2 cars. My poor motorcycle will have to suffer outside, spoiled with the underground parking here!! Cheers

Woo hoo, another outside parking spot! Especially with the flooding in the garage the past few days.:angry:

Pretty much a done deal. Have agreed on price. So as long as condo association paperwork looks ok and home inspection goes well, we settle July 24th!!! Between now and then, with al lmy travelling, only have 6 sleeps left in this apartment, crazy!!
