CR1 VS K3 INTERVIEW! HELP!!!!!!!

working with NVC with our case, I'm sending today DS-230 package but at the same time my wife is sending DS-230 and DS-2100 to the US Embassy in Bogota Colombia but our CR-1 case is flying, so far I thing everything is going well but going through the guides it says that I can schedule the the K-3 interview and It could become CR-1 letter on! is that true? IF our case gets completed by NVC and forwarded to the Enbassy will the change the K-3 schedulled interview to a CR-1?

I would appreciate all responses, please help.

The DS-2100 is a form that you need to sent to the embassy along with the DS-230 if you are persuing a visa K so they can schedule you interview, that's call package 3. You can access Bogota US embassy and download the package so you can have it ready.

Switching K-3 to CR-1 really depends upon how your CR-1 is flying, if consulate gets your CR-1 file prior to your K-3 interview (well I think around 10 days to 2 weeks prior) from NVC it can be possible to switch.

So do evaluate your options and you might want to hold off your k-3 if CR-1 is flying through.

That's what I'm waiting for! I worked so hard to submit everything ahead of time not waiting for any emails or the AVR to give me an update. I spend hours and hours before the case even got to NVC to have everyting ready and I thing is paying off because I'm sure our case will be completed soon and forwarded to the Enbassy soon enough before the K3 interview that hopefuly will be schedule tihs comming Wednesday. Everything is in God's hands. Amen...
