Hi Mezoh

Welcome to VJ and congratulations on your marriage! I am from Kenya and married to a wonderful man. Today is my first time to look at this forum. I love soccer but i don't watch it often except during World Cup, so i guess you can talk soccer.

When i first came here i really missed home, kenyan food and most of all my family but after a few months i found most of my foods in some stores, not far from where i live. As for my family we communicate alot on internet and on phone, although its not the same as seeing them but it feels nice to hear their voices.

Adjusting did not take me a long time except the cold weather (although I loved looking at the snow) during the winter and am still wondering if i will be able to adjust, thank God its summer. Another adjustment was pronounciations from British to American English for example water, and computer, shirts, shots and shorts (I will always have my British accent), using lbs instead of kgs, miles instead of KM and others that i can't remember but they were not major ones.

I already took the prerequisites for nursing program and the Math required is not difficult so just know that you will get through it. Which subjects are you taking now? All the best in your VJ.

Regards

Damar
