UPDATE:::

my fiance had her interview monday,i accompanied her but i just stayed at the waiting area.she was interviewd for 6hrs been questioning her/rattling her.i feel sorry for her.they told her a lot of things which are not true, they even told her i had a bad background which is not true, she even told them to ask me to come inside so that they can ask me but they didnt call me.they've been forcing her to sign the withdrawal but she did not sign it.she questioned them everything over and over again.she was able to answer all the questions.she was interviewd by a filipino officer then a with a american officer who she said was a lot nicer!before she left she was asked to sign a paper then with the signature of the officer beside her signature, written there was all d questions they ask her and all the answer.

they told her they will just call her and was advised to bring her NBI id.they did not return her passport but they returned our pictures..

what is happening next?what can we do now?

we are all disheartened with everything that's happening.please advise us

thank you and godbless us

thanks for the update, i've been following your case, but i'm afraid i can't answer your questions, i just wish that somebody from here who experienced being on fraud unit would reply on your post, maybe they should also put a forum here for those placed on fraud unit or those under AP, try posting on Philippine forum maybe somebody from there has answers to your question

don't be disheartened, hang on there, at times like this you need to be strong for you and your fiance, she must be feeling a lot worse considering she have to undergo all those interrogation, good luck and God bless

hi, i've read aries girls thread, quite long but informative, you could get ideas from there, her petioner followed up that case at the embassy almost everyday thru e-mail and phone calls, i think they also hired an immigration lawyer to assist them, maybe them being pesistent scored some big points to the embassy eventually approving their visa, try reading that thread, God bless

thank you..i have been trying to reach ariesgirl but i cannot send her a message,we dont know what to do now.im still here with my fiance..what if we get married now?would that be an option???

although i'm not an expert on this topic, based from my readings here getting married now would create a bigger problem, that would invalidate your K1 application, remember they did not deny your K1 visa outright, meaning there's still a chance that it would be approve within a month or two, for some people here when their K1 visa got denied, they got married and applied for K3 or CR 1 visa which would take another approximately 6 months or so(excluding the preparation for the wedding, gathering requirements for your Visa application, marriage certificate from NSO would approximately take a month)

Thank you very much.we are praying that everything will be alright..

I hope she will be called soon..what are my options while I'm here with her?can I go to US embassy and make a follow up in person?I don't know what to do.please help us..

yes i think you could do that while you're still in the Philippines, having the USC follow-up the case even through phone and e-mail really proves a bonafide relationship, what more doing it in person, you could also gather more evidence thru pictures of you and your fiance with her family while you're still here, and don't forget to pray

My fiancee and I had a similar experience. I wish you the best of luck. I was in Manila from March 24-April 5, we called the embassy number from our hotel lobby. I believe my fiancee had them dial the 1-909-101-7838 No. We were told to go to Gate 2, Window X between 1300-1430 M-F. Make sure everytime you call or visit, request the person you talk with to update your file, although the updates will not reach the consul's desks for a few weeks.

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
