med exam question

I was reading that the following shots are needed.My future wife tells me in her country they dont keep records of such shots.So, will she have to retake all of these at the med exam?Or just as long as she has them done before AOS?Is it 12 different shots, or a all in one type shot?

LOL,she very nervous about all of this.Please help me understand.I read something about a wavier?But,overall she will eventually need to have all of them?

U.S. immigration law requires that ALL intending immigrants be vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases before they can be admitted to the United States for permanent residence. Vaccinations currently required are as follows:

 Mumps

 Measles

 Rubella

 Polio

 Tetanus and Diphtheria toxoids

 Pertussis

 Influenza Type B

 Hepatitis Type A

 Hepatitis Type B

 Varicella

 Pneumoccocal

 Rotavirus

 Meningococcal

 Any other vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices

Tell her that she will just had a shot with her age appropriate. This are the shots they gave me at SLMEC anti-cervical cancer, MMR, TDAP, and varicella

She is 30, and from what i have read doesnt need the hpv shot?So, your saying she doesnt need a shot for the rest?Is there a complete list of age shots, as your talking about?

So, if the person is not up to date.Do or can they get these at the med?

Or lets just be blunt what exactly do you do at a med exam besides a xray.I can read and read for days, but alot of it is very vague and just says bring this and that.But, not exactly what happens at these exams.

I am in the process of preapring my AOS as well. It appears that exams and vaccinations are one of the most controversial areas. My understanding is they do a syphyllis test, HIV, TB check, vaccinations and transcribe the form. However my wife had her exam in under a 1 year period but in Orlando area they don't care because the I-693 no longer has a seperate I-693a which was for vaccines only(all is on one form now). There are some CS's who will transcribe only the vaccines, but I can't find a local one who will do it without collecting the $200+ for a complete exam, meaning the items I listed. I am sending mine to a doc in another state who will do it. My wife is current on her vaccines but if not I would take her to the local health clinic to get the vaccines.

jean only had four injections. she is twenty four years old. may need more later...

she should be able to get a blood test done which shows which antibodies are in her blood and thus which shots she has already had.
