Thank you for reply..

I don't have to make a copy of mortagage/tax return.. etc... Right?

I just want to make sure that i prepare everything & correctly.

Those may need for interview, but not for initial application.

I would suggest that if you have these items in the check list file to just send them. You'll avoid unneccessary delays due to an incomplete application. The checklist clearly states:

Document Checklist for Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

All Applicants for Naturalization must send the following items with their N-400

application:

.........

.........

Send copies of the following documents, unless we ask for an original.

...........

Are you applying based on 3 years of marriage to a U.S. citizen? In that case, you do need to send evidence of your marriage, such as joint tax returns. The evidence won't be examined closely till the interview so you can probably keep it to a minimum, but the instructions (see the checklist that RDan19 posted above) do say to include tax returns or other evidence referring to both you and your spouse.

As others have said, if your application is marriage-based, you'll also need to send proof of your spouse's U.S. citizenship, such as a Birth Certificate or U.S. passport.
