This is my first time writing to welcome a new day.

Today is my little angel's 6th birthday!

I checked my bank account, and our check was cashed for the I-751 - yay!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

K-1 petition sent late September 2006 after second visit

December 2006 - third trip - went for his visa interview (stood outside all day)

visa approved! arrived here together right before Christmas 2006

married January 2007

AOS paperwork sent February 2007

RFE (yipee)

another RFE (yikes)

AOS approval July 2007

sent Removal of Conditions paperwork 01 May 2009

received I-751 NOA 14 May 2009

received ASC appt. notice 28 May 2009

biometrics appt. 12 June 2009

I-751 approval date 25 Sept 2009 (no updates on the system - still says 'received'/"initial review")

19 Oct 2009 - got text message "card production ordered"

24 Oct 2009 - actual card in the mail box!

sent his N-400 - 14 May 2010

check cashed 27 May 2010

NOA received 29 May 2010 (dated 24 May)

Biometrics Appointment Letter received 17 June 2010

Biometrics scheduled for 08 July 2010; walk-in successfully done in Philadelphia 07 July 2010

02 Oct 2010 - FINALLY got email saying the case was being transferred to the local office. Hoping to get his interview letter soon...

05 Oct 2010 - received interview letter!!!!

08 November 2010 - scheduled for N-400 interview

- went together for interview; file isn't there - need to wait to be rescheduled

Jan 2011 - went for Infopass

25 Feb 2011 - interview

19 April 2011 - Infopass

8 July 2011 - HE'S FINALLY A CITIZEN - WOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dudes! Happy commencement ceremony to me on Saturday and happy wedding ceremony to me on May 23 even though we got married 2.5 years ago attribute it to not having a ceremony yet.

Happy Thursday everyone

It's very scary outside too much thunder lightening and showering all day! :unsure: They go quiet all of a sudden and then BOMBBBB I almost had the baby right on the spot :P anyways I hope tomorrow is better.

I had two naps earlier so I'm wide awake now alone and bored :angry: My sleeping is soooooooooooooooo messed up!

Hey everybody! I'm at work already and I am an insomniac as well. I have had hardly any sleep for the last two nights and about noon I tend to lean to one side with my mouth hanging open and sway. LOL..

HLM...I get ya about the T-storms. We got them last night also and actually they are still happening outside right now. I can normally sleep really well when it is raining but not when it sounds like bombs are going off. My husband was surprised to hear this when he came. The first time he jumped about 3 feet in the air and ran like there was truely bombs going off. I had to laugh.....

My baby had something really strange happen to him. He woke up with a really red area in the corner white of his eye. Last night we got him down and it looks like a cyst on the white of the eyeball. Is this familiar to anybody? I am going to call his doctor after I get out of my 8-10am meeting and see what he has to say about it. I am not sure if I take him to his regular doc or an opthamologist. Anyways, pray for the little guy. He still isn't back to his normal self yet from his bronchitis. My other son is due to have surgery tomorrow morning but I have a good feeling it will be postponed due to his bronchitis.

Poor baby Mal. I say Opthamologist would be better and more accurate. Keep us updated I ask Allah to heal him and keep him safe and healthy always ameen.

Good Thursday morning everyone!!! I worked from home yesterday...a very rare opportunity I got to take...and now I wish I was back home working in my PJs like yesterday!!! But at least tomorrow is Friday and today I get free lunch...my friends are taking me out as a belated birthday lunch! :)
