Only a trickle of K1 NOA2 out of CSC for VJers...

Looking at Igor's List it seems very few NOA2 for K1 visas have come out of the CSC this month, what's going on? I realize VJers are only a percentage of the total caseload of the CSC but still... Are they busy with the HIB quota? Is this a seasonal thing? If so when is the K1 activity expected to pick up again?

hmmm didn't u hear we payed high fees so they could hire more people to deal this

guess they couldn't find anyone that was qualified to do the hiring so we all suffer just joken

seems to me that it slowed down at about this time last year too and started back up in june or july, but then again last year was election year so they were tied up trying to get the citizenships so that new citizens could vote.

I would guess it H visas, as they become available again in April.

I think they just slowed down so as to not make the VSC look so bad.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

When I called them, they claimed that they were behind and still working on the K1 visas from November 15, 2008.

I don't know what's going on, but I get pissed off anew every time I visit their website and see some new update that I don't really care about. Why aren't they working on our visas?

I think that they're probably working on the H visas too. Wouldn't want to upset Bill Gates now, would we?

It has started to pick back up. Best that we could guess was the H1B petitions that had paid for premium processing knocked us off the table. Looks like the average of people getting approved at the moment are around 95-105 days.
