I was hoping to find out how long processing times are for Russia.

Once my I-129F gets approved, how long could the wait be?

Is there anyone who has brought their fiance over from Russia?

What was your experience like?

Thanks

July 11: Sent I-129F

July 14: Received I-129F

August 3: Receipt

August 6: Touched

Oct 18: I-129F Approved

Dec 1: NVC sent case to Embassy

February 14: Interview/Approved

Well, I am at that point. Having asked around and done some research, I would say expect an interview date from 3-4 months after your NOA2 date.

There are many factors that go into that, and can alter that, but I would say that is a good guess. But remember... it is only a guess! :D

K1 Visa Process long ago and far away...

02/09/06 - NOA1 date

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

My NOA 1 date was Mar 3, 2006, NOA 2 date of May 8, 2006, and my fiancee's interview date is August 14th, 2006. This is all out of the CSC and since it was pre-IMBRA I'm sure it will take a little longer for you. But it went faster than I thought it would, at least in my case. Good luck and hang in there, it will be worth it!!

Our timelines are almost identical.

You can also go to the VJ link "Immigration Timelines" and see some history.

bwaaderant and I guestimated and the guess was within a week based on the data that others entered though the sample was very small.

That's why it's very important for people to update and keep the timelines updated so people can answer questions like you've posed by frequently looking at the Timelines.

All the best!

Larry and Maria
