Just called to get an interview!

So, my case was completed yesterday and I called today to get an interview date. They said because my case was just complete I have to wait until June 19 scheduling. Huh? What? However, she says they will still be giving out interviews for June until May 18. Huh? Why can't I have an June date? Any recommendations anyone? What should I do?

Give it a couple of days and check with NVC......NVC usually tells u that they assign interview only during second working week of month .But this is not true as a bunch of us here of VJ were assigned interviews for June in end of May .....So just keep ur fingers crossed......soon u will get ur interview email...just hang in there...

no doubt much better than stucking at USCIS for ex .....

No where man, I was born with no patience. LOL. That should have been my log in name. LOL.Yes, I know I have been really luckyin this whole process. However, I still want a June interview. :-)

yeah, hang in there.. lots of people would trade places with you given the chance.

keep calling.. you know they give out standard answers anyway.

i'm sure once they assign an interview date to you.. they will inform you when you call.

hi...id like to ask some question about the case u have been upgraded...my husband upgraded his petition for me at USCIS we received letter from them that our case has been upgraded into their system... id like to ask where and how ded you received email from them?? emailed from USCIS or NVC??? its been 2 months since he asked for the upgrade... we havent received our NOA2.

upgrading give u priorty as an immediate processsing instead of waiting for may be years ..but dont forget that alot already were before u in line of the same category of USC immediate relatives ..

but it doesnt effect the NOA2 ...once its ur turn and an officer assigned t ur case ..so its processed and when approved u get your NOA2 notice

NVC only assigns dates for Jamaica based on what the embassy gives them, it's a very different animal than other embassies - Check the regional forum, there is a yardie thread there - you will see that people wait about 2-3 months to get an interview date.
