If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Hello everyone :)

I have been really busy. It's been a long time since I had any responsibilities :lol:

So will you all be online tonight? I can try and get on around 9pm/10pm.

So far I've shown my husband the bank, post office, dentist, pharmacy, and supermarket. We've used the ATM together and he's met some neighbors.

We've done ALOT of gardening. So that has been fun. He's now very familiar with Lowe's and Home Depot :lol:

We also went to the driver's license office. He's going to study for the written exam and then get a learning permit, followed by a license. I don't think he's comfortable taking the driving part just yet. Fortunately we don't have to wait for a SS# that was some good news for once :yes:

Next week we'll be filling out the work auth. and hopefully getting it out quickly. He's already antsy to work.

We've had minor tiffs and issues (which is to be expected) but for the most part, everything is okay. I'm still shocked that he's here.

How come Steve? There were no problems at the interviews correct? I guess they need to tie those loose ends?

No $$$ for the plane tickets :( I need to come up with around $1800 to get them both home ...

Mar 6, 2009 - Medical for Ksenia & Sasha completed in Kiev. Everything is great.

Mar 9, 2009 - Called NVC and found out our K3 is in "administrative processing"

Apr 6, 2009 - OUT OF A.P. !!! File being sent to Kiev !

May 5, 2009 - K3 interview in Kiev! APPROVED !!!

July 12, 2009 - ARRIVAL IN USA !!!

Sorry I missed you guys. I got home late yesterday and found my husband making bread :P So I was cleaning up as he was busy doing that. By the time we ate and had our evening coffee it was already after 10pm our time. Then we stayed up gabbing till midnight :wacko: I'm so tired today. Also, yesterday my husband told me "Your computer is not working. It needs to be formatted." So I have no idea if it even works right now. Since he's been home I haven't been on my home computer at all...no time :help::lol:

Seren, I wish you all the best and much luck on your interview. I'm sure you will pass with flying colors! Can't wait till it's over with you also and you can be with your husband.

Steve, June is right around the corner. When are you planning to bring the ladies home?

You'll be fine.... :thumbs: you were organized from the beginning. I was filling out forms in the car on the way to the interview and they accepted everything. :whistle:

Quick hug and run. Sooooooooo busy cleaning and getting evtg ready in the limited amount of time I have left before hubby gets here :wacko::wacko::wacko: At least, winter clothes are finally put away and his half of the closet is now empty and ready for him to hang his clothes in :dance:

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online
